Police in Boca Raton, Fla., are investigating a possible race crime in the the brutal Jan. 28 attack on a local black grandmother who said her white attackers hurled racial epithets as they beat her.
Ruby Hope Williams, 65, of Deerfield Beach, said she was walking to the bathroom at the popular Red Reef Park public beach when she was pushed from behind and fell on the pavement. She said her lip was cut in the fall.
Williams yelled for her boyfriend, Kenneth, but he had gone to another part of the park to fish and was too far away to hear her call, according to the police report.
When she tried to get up, she heard one of the two men say, "Nigger, what are you doing here?" They allegedly dragged her a few feet on the pavement and kicked her in the buttocks before running away, Williams told police.
Neither of the attackers attempted to rob Williams, she said, adding that she called her daughter who told her to call 911.
Williams described the men as 20 years old; one white and the second having curly hair and tanned skin and possibly Hispanic.
Police searched the area but could not locate the suspects. There were no witnesses nor surveillance cameras in the area.
Williams told police she didn't want the crime investigated but her son insisted that the case be reopened and that his mother pursue the matter.

Its time to wakeup black people. This is just the start. Notice this happened to a poorer black person, not you middleclass negroes who read this blog. Time to rethink your priorities in America because this could have been one of your family members, that you turned your back on.

Words cannot express the way I feel about this. If they can I am too flustered to grasp them. I have experienced that helpless feeling she's talking about where she is made to feel as though she is the criminal or it is somehow her fault as she attempts to pursue justice, but I wish to GOD that she would bite that bullet and work with whoever might be able to find these guys. Those boys better hope with every bit of what little hardiness they've got that this woman doesn't have the type of family she appears that she might have. Because if they did something like that they must have been in an area that they feel they run: and that likely means they'll be around there again. If she has anyone in her family that feels the way I would about my grandmother they'll wish it had been the cops that caught up to them.

White people are still wondering why we are always so mad and angry with them.They say slavery is over the land of the free, the home of the brave,the civil rights bill have passed for you blacks. Until we stand like our black ancestors and demand protection under the law not just from whites but also from ourselves, who also committ crimes against each other and the elderly for monetary gain and some to be part of a gang and in the end are hurt just like this woman.Regardless of the motive in many ways we are no better than the whites who committed this crime when we get mad at them and turn a blind eye on gangs because they are friends and relations.
