Obama Calls the GOP Out for Bipartisan Meeting
President Barack Obama has set up a meeting with Republicans to discuss the passing of a comprehensive health care bill on February 25th. Some GOP members feel as though the meeting could be a trap to supposedly expose their "flimsy" solutions for health care coverage and are wary of attending. The President has been adamant in his position of bringing Republicans to the table to create a bipartisan effort to procure health care coverage for the masses, but many involved in the GOP say they aren't looking to work on the bills that got passed by Democrats in the House and Senate, but want the President to entirely start over. President Obama has been credited for calling the Republicans out on the much-needed legislation, and liberal Democrats hope that once Republicans meet with the President, the GOP will be exposed as the "obstructionists" they are and Democrats will be encouraged to go forward with health care without the Republicans. I am a 62 y.o. American. My ethnicity is not an issue; I'm an American. I just want to point out some historical facts for all of you new pseudo economist to consider while you're rallying against the Presidents policies to salvage a sunken ship. Have you ever noticed how in our imperialist agenda to conquer the world and bring others into the submission of Democracy; that the conquered become citizens of the USA. And their country now receives economic aid from us? Have you ever rallied against Foreign Aid? How about subsidies to our "friends in the region"?Why are they friends, and who are they, and why do the deserve American taxpayers money? I can go on and on of how we send huge sums of money out of the country to further our imperialist agenda but I won't. I'm just trying to figure out why the harsh outcry about money proposed to improve the health and welfare of everyday good old hardworking American citizens? Tell me,please!
