PETA Uses Tiger's Sex Scandal for Promotion

Tiger Peta

While there is some debate about whether Tiger Woods' recent public apology was sufficiently sincere, PETA isn't above using him for its mission.

On a billboard, the animal rights group wrote: "Too much sex can be a bad thing for little tigers too. Help keep your cats (and dogs) out of trouble. Help spay and neuter them." Next to the words is a photo of Tiger Woods with his hands on his hips.

PETA's hoping the ad will go up in the next few weeks, but it may have trouble finding an advertiser who will put it up, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

There's a racial and historical unsettling that happens when you compare a black man's (or Cablanasian) sex drive to an animal. Then add the implied message that he needs to be neutered. This ad is cheap and not very clever or funny.

What do you think?
