Health CareObama Encourages Congress to Act
Yesterday, President Barack Obama presented his final pitch for health care to Congress. He pleaded to lawmakers to not let the year it took to draft House and Senate versions of the health care bill be in vain. Instead, he urged lawmakers to push forward in an "up-or-down vote" to ensure health care for millions of Americans nationwide. The outcome of health care is far from certain, with some Democrats still opposing the legislation and others concerned about their individual futures in the November elections. Only time will tell.
