In addition to the money in the federal stimulus bill, billions more has been given to states to give out contracts themselves. There is no central database to record the amount of this money that has been given to minority contractors.
One of the challenges is that minority businesses are often too small to compete for projects and don't have access to the capital and equipment used by larger, more established companies. Also, the push to spend the stimulus money quickly makes it more likely to land in the hands of more established companies.
African Americans and Hispanics are finding that their unemployment rates have skyrocketed as a result of the economic downturn. There is also an inaccurate count of the number of Americans who are either underemployed or have given up looking for work. These numbers are also found to increase faster for minorities than for whites.
The Obama Administration has taken some steps to address the issue of minority exclusion. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood wrote governors back in December to request that they consider working with disadvantaged businesses. He argued that large contracts could be unbundled to make them more accessible for small companies.
It is my hope and expectation that they do the right thing. Give the administration time and evaluate the results in three months. If the issues have not been corrected by summer, then we've got a serious problem.

Editorial in today's UK Telegraph:
THE END OF THE ROAD FOR BARACK OBAMA
"Mr Obama benefited in his campaign from an idiotic level of idolatry, in which most of the media participated with an astonishing suspension of cynicism."

Blacks STILL have this idiotic level of idolatry.
Again, this is not a quote from me, it's from the UK Telegraph, which at one time was rooting for Obama. It's as objective as they come.

U. D. I don't think that we should wait for the welfare checks any longer. Lets meet in the downtown areas or shopping malls of our cities ant start a riot. There is a lot of loot to be had.

The term Elitism may be used to describe a situation in which power is concentrated in the hands of the elite.
Elitism denotes situations in which a group of people claiming to possess high abilities or simply an in-group or cadre grant themselves extra privileges at the expense of others. Such elitism
has social psychological consequences especially on the NON-Elitest of the bunch.

Poll shows Americans think US is less respected since Obama took over:
http://washingtontimes.com/news/2010/mar/08/poll-obama-dems-losing-ground/
Obama is perceived as a weakling, weak on national security, and grovels to foreigners, making the US seem weak and losing us respect.
Obama has been a disaster, both on domestic matters as well as foreign security. I know blacks don't feel this way, BUT A GROWING MAJORITY OF AMERICANS DO.

I realy do not understand some of the people of this country, more so the people of the other party, I am in this country a very long time and I have never see a president so harass, and disrespected as Mr.Abama. The president that bring this country to its knees, and lose it respect in the world, did not get this kind of harass. For eight years these same people saw this president and is party pull this country down and they said nothing. Now this president and his party is trying they very best to lift it back up, and some of the people want him to do it in one to two years, the time will come when these people will see what a terrible mistake they have made, and may God help them all..
