Circumstances of Disappearance: Barnett has a prior history of substance abuse. Investigation by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office indicates that criminal activity may be involved in her disappearance. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information that confirms her location. Callers may remain anonymous and still collect the award.

Someone shared this story with me on facebook today. I'm wondering if the case is related to the other missing women cases in Edgecombe County, NC. A man has already been charged with a couple of the murders and is awaiting trial. I think they have recovered like 6 victims already, but the investigators fear there might have been more. All of the other ladies were african american as well. Just a thought.
