Joseph Sean McVey, 23, of Coshocton, Ohio, holding a gun and impersonating a police officer, was arrested at an airport in North Carolina as President Barack Obama's plane prepared to take off.
McVey told police that he wanted to see Obama and parked his car, which he outfitted to look like a police cruiser, near a gate that led to a runway.
Air Force One was taxiing when McVey was arrested, according to police.
Police and Secret Service took a handgun from McVey, and he was charged with misdemeanor gun possession. He's being held on a $100,000 bond.
The most distressing aspect of this case is the fact that McVey's front and rear dashboards were equipped with LED police-style strobe lights and a digital camera in the front window. He had a siren located under the steering wheel and large antennas attached to the trunk.
If this guy wasn't up to some serious trouble with the president a few hundred yards away, then my name is Mickey Mouse.
It's great that the authorities were on their toes and caught McVey before he could do any damage.
But the sad truth is that the good guys have to be right every single time, but the criminals who want to hurt the president only have to be right just once to throw this country and the world into chaos.
Unfortunately, McVey won't be the last person suspected of threatening the president.
Watch the madness here:

WTF?!?! First and foremost, all the evidence are stacked up against this guy to want to commit some kind of act..weather he targeted the President or not...that's not the point.....what more facts do you need....HE TRIED TO IMPERSONATE AN OFFICER!!! who does that without reason?.. you'd have to be blind not to see this guy's intent...I mean come on what more of a clue do you need than that...Believe you & me when all this is said and done, he's probably got a history of mental Illness (they always do) and nobody paid attention to it...I just hate that it's always after the fact that precautions are taken in this country...and yes...I took that name (McVey)into account...won't be the slightest bit surprised if they're of the same bloodline...apple doesn't fall too far from the tree...Kinda eerie if you ask me...you're probably as crazy as he is...

Four factors are coming to light here 1.impersonating a police officer... 2.emulating suicide bomber tactics... 3. 23yrs old was charged with misdemeanor gun possession.... in regard showing up with no affiliation to airport personel, with a gun, while the President of the United States is in route, impersonating a police officer... This story can't be real....

I may not agree 100% with this president's decisions or his ideals... but he's OUR president.
The saddest thing is that some people are so sick and so pathetic that they'd even CONSIDER doing something to harm him... the worst of those being the ones who are racially motivated to do so.
Whether you like him as president or not, whether you dislike the fact of his race or not, he is the President of the United States of America. If for only THAT reason-- of the symbolism being WHO he is (the position he holds)-- GET OVER YOUR ISSUES.

The man still deserves a fair trial. All he asked was to see the pres whom i call slim shady?
There is no proof that he wanted to do anything else?
Now before you jump the fence.
1 is it possible that this man knew that the only wat he could see Slim shady was to act as if?
2 is it possible that this man has a mental illness and was asking for help.
3 is it possible that if he is mentally challenged that he is, in his own mind a fan of Slim Shadys and wanted to meet his fan face to face and used extreme methods to do so?
Now before any of u white fokes think that i am on your side..NOT! i am a former prosceutor now law professor who understands the constitution..There is no proof here people..and as an Atty i must stand on the side of innocense? Something is very wrong with this story.
i like Pres Obama, but not his policies as it relates to "WE THE PEOPLE" Other that that i support him.
PS i use the small i to say "THERE ARE NO BIG I'S OR SMALL U'S
Bring it on

"white fokes," former "prosceutor," now law professor...on the side of "innocense"
You got ONE thing right:
"Something is very wrong with this story."
U can't mask ignorance. Grow up.
