Well gposner29 I suppose whats wrong with african-american people and violence is the same thing that effects whites and violence, hispanics and violence, asians and violence and everything else. Crime is crime whether its a black man committing it or a white man. Lets not pretend that it doesn't exist in every race. Please don't allow yourself to be the catalyst of such ignorance.......

seriously?? what a stupid question. what is it with white violence? violence is violence regardless of the race. it is committed by all races and just because someone white has a crime done to them by another race doesn't make people in that race ALL BAD!!! idiota

BLACK PEOPLE and violence? Let me take you to something (immediately) that you might recognize: When's the last time you saw, even a clip, of a hockey game? How many BLACK faces do you see on the ice ... not to mention the audience?

The same thing with any other race and violence. It's not a race-specific thing, but an unfortunate human ordeal. I would like to think that you aren't simply trolling. If you are, I have to ask, "What's with (insert your race here) making unnecessary ignorant and racist comments on tragic news stories?" Oh, I know the answer. It's called being an attention whore. Get a life, child.

Violence is not racist; if you watch the news regularly, you will see that violence is just as likely to happen among whites, blacks, latino, ext.

What scares me is that violence is much more likely to happen to women and children, the most vulnerable.

What you should be taking an especially hard look at is the violelnce of white Republican Hate groups, such as the White Supremeists, the Gun-toting Pro-lifers who cause violence at abortion clinics angrily harassing and manhandling the patients going in, and even shoot the doctors, the Tea Partiers whom Sarah Palin encouraged to fight on with weapons (shame on her, and she wants to be president, while she encourages outright murder), the Skinheads, the Neo Nazis, the KKK, and the NRA, the brick throwers, gun shooters, Church going and Bible preeching who have their little sordid affairs, which don't make much news because they are not bound to celibacy, like the Catholic Priests are, one priest to 10 Baptists shouting their praises and glory to the Lord on TV and by the way, here's the number to call for your donations, and we take Visa, Mastercard and Americann Express.

Have you been watching all the politicians being cut off by their respective paraties for inglorius behavior, lack of fidelity in marriage is just a sign of their lack of fidelity to any promise, just look at Sarah Palin, didn't even bother to finish out her term as Governor when she could be making millions on the celebrity route, inglorius behavior, indeed, that shows her lack of commitment, lack of fidelity to her party and her leadership. And when she hand picks Democrats as seen through the sight of a gun, that's not funny, it's encouraging her extremist faithful to go ahead and do it, and it that's not stupid, and me thinks it's illegal making her an accessory to the fact IF any of her fans get out there and actually shoot one of her gun sight victims. Palin is a perfect example of a white extremist, stop at nothing to get where you are going, even encourage murder.

So gpoosner, think twice before you place the blame of violence on minorities. My own son is half Vietnamese, and he doesn't like to see people with whom he is talking out of doors who, when they see a bug near their shoes, instinctively crush it; hey, wait a minute, like I taught him, we are in their world, our world is indoors, so for heaven's sake, leave the poor thing alone, the Lord made it, too! And such instinct, when given an M-16, I have seen it myself at boot camp, will either be totally turned off and have great difficulty trying to shoot at human shaped targets, and there will be those totally turned on, grab that puppy and jump up and down until they get those bullets and led to the shooting range, and shoot and shoot until they are out of bullets and their gun is hot. I joined as a concientious objector, but the Chaplain said I wouldn't get out of book camp until they had records of my shooting ability within a passing range, and didn't I want to get out of boot camp?
So I passed the test, all bull's eyes because I took my time to aim well, and was really ready to get out of Ft. McClellan and Alabama in August, and get to my destination, Ft. Devens, Massachusetts, Intelligence, Top Security, cryptology (writing codes). And when I was done passing my test, my drill sargeant told me he was sending me to sharpshooting school, with skills like that...OMG, and I told him, no, I really didn't deserve the honor, and I knew that the Captain in Ft. Devens was anxiously waiting for me, maybe next time.

So,gposner, I served my country, and in our troop, stood with women from all over the country, all faces of all races, and my best friend was a young black lady about as young as myself and we helped each other through book camp, we were like twins, well almost, except I was white, and we spent our little leisure time that we had together. She was from Kentucky, and I was from Massachusetts, and there were so many artificial differences about us, but in our hearts and souls we were as one. Her name is Jean. I have a picture of her somewhere in my boxes of photos my mom kept for me, who is now passed on to the Lord's great paradise above with two of my brothers and dad, and her sisters, Roo and Jet and the rest, but Roo, even as she got angry with me for the rest of her life when I got a divorce, there is still a string from her heart to mine, steel, cannot be cut by neither time nor anger, a string of love, a shadow left behind on the beach at Bermuda. Love is ever so much stronger than HATE, and if we all ppray hard enough, the peaceful and sharing will conquer the warmongers and selfish, and then, yes, then we will have peace and Justice will prevail, justice through the eyes of Love.
