Amy Kremer (pictured above right), leader of the
Tea Party Express, a peculiar anti-Obama movement that has swept the conservative part of the nation, was on the "
The View" attempting to defend that which cannot be defended. Even
Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the most conservative host on the show, attacked the Tea Party movement for being racist.
That's when Kremer went on the defense. She first explained to Hasselbeck that the Tea Party movement is not about racism, it's about fiscal issues. She also claimed that her enemies are trying to discredit their organization. What was most interesting was when Kremer went on to try to argue that President
Barack Obama's "Tea Baggers" name is the same as calling someone the N-word.On comments like that, I have to tap in to my inner
Gary Coleman: "What you talkin' 'bout, Amy?"
To compare the use of the term "Tea Bagger" to the N-word is not only false, but incredibly weak and problematic. Such a comparison can't be made with good sense, and for Kremer to say such a thing only adds insult to the injury that her group has caused minority groups across the nation.
One point that Kremer accurately made, however, is that it is patently unfair that we live in a nation where those who vehemently disagree with President Obama are somehow racist. I think this assessment is wrong, since there are African Americans who can't stand Obama and many well-intended white Americans who don't like him either. The problem is that racism is such an elusive social disease that it's hard to identify it when it happens to be present. Even most racists don't know that they're racist, and would never admit to being so.
Another point that can be made in light defense of the Tea Party Express (which, for the most part, has become labeled as a ridiculous, extremist movement), is that the party itself does not deserve to be identified by its fringe elements. Yes, there are those who are going to use the Tea Party Movement as a cover for their own racist hatred of President Obama, but those who show up to events with racist signs and language do not represent everyone in the group. The Tea Partiers, however, would do best to facilitate this process by working extra hard to exclude racists from their camp. Any sign of racism, either blatant or subtle, should be removed from their group immediately.
I don't like what the Tea Party Express stands for politically, since I do not agree with their views. Also, the anger by which they attack President Obama certainly stinks of the damaging subtle racism which cripples the rest of our society. But on the other hand, the Tea Party Express represents the very best America has to offer, because they are putting their freedom of speech and expression to work and letting the government know what they think. There's nothing more patriotic than that.

Wow ! I thought tea bagger was something totally different ! Maybe that's what Kremer should do to her husband and then I'll bet "tea bagger" won't be the same as the "n" word if she does it right !

Well, I can't say I quite agree with Kremer, but if she'd prefer, I'll be more than happy to refer to the group as "constipated old sociopathic nativist bigots" from now on....

Calling a group a degrading name is the quickest way to allow yourself not to think weather the other side has any valid points. If you say, " they are just a bunch of Baggers or they are just a bunch of N------" Try to see what makes them spend the effort. Calling them racist is just another one. I am not a t-party guy but I like hearing what everyone has to say. If you don't like Obama, it doesn't have to be because he is Black

Well to try and look at it in this manner, let's just do a little review.
The very racists White people of today (and that's probably a larger majority), from day one, who past generations of White ancestors, owing another race of people in the form of SLAVERY, an American political, social and economic model purposely regulated and mandated by these very United States in order to physically build this nation on the backs of Blacks people since this nation began that, systematically and purposely created and coined the phrase "N***er", in order to control and paint with a severe broad brush (and completely unnecessary) and identify a race of people (for the entire world to believe) as a horrid negative to all African Americans and people of African descent, past and present, with the overall historical intent to degrade, humiliate, lessen, make, inferior, inhuman and has allowed that term and it's "on the town/city/state/federal books" of laws to create and control a terrible and shameful history of oppression, killings, hangings, family separations, lying, stealing, exercise all practices (in complete separation and isolation) to keep Black people illiterate, hungry (both mentally and physically) and destitute in all forms of American life: education, work, religion, advancement and upward mobility of any kind in this country and even now, having politically "streamlined and shortened" it's use to the now popular phrase the "N" word.
The term used in order for all White people to use the "actual word" whenever and however they want without "really using the actual word" in order to keep themselves from being called the one thing that they despise and gets them in deep trouble: being called a racist in today's society and keep themselves "innocent but yet understanding to Blacks" because they know that using the full word "n***er" will get them fired from any occupation, cause much, controversy, and/or cause bodily harm to their persons and label/brand them for the rest of their lives. And there have been many White victims over the years that have lost everything because of the full use of the word.
And now because Whites feel (in their minds) the very same way that they intentionally and on purpose made Blacks feel and live (destitute, forgotten about, hungry (both mentally and physically) etc, using the very same analogy that I wrote about in the preceding three paragraphs, have now politically selected the term "Tea Bagger" a term in which SHOULD to its followers refer to the days of the nation’s birth and The Revolutionary War against the British but in today’s society, it is co-mingled and has somewhat different meaning, one of a raging White racist (the very thing that they don’t want to be labeled as) and a urban slang term used in a sexual nature that publically is not easy on the ears but in private, as a form of passion, is probably practiced by many, including “Tea Baggers”.
BOTTOM LINE: Racist Whites have purposely created two caustic terms (one on purpose and the other not on purpose) that will go down in American history as both racist terms and it’s their entire fault.
ROTFLMAO!........Racist White folks, As they say in the African American community, “you played yo’ self” and somebody in the Tea Party (since they are so “White & smart”) should have cracked open a dictionary or simply “ask” somebody.
But then again, who suprised?

How true you are about that. The sad thing is they feel they have that right. This group have created treason, againist the govenment. That is a right they don't have. They can disagree, but not speak of killing and starting their own milita that is ran by the president of the United States. Their under tone is hate and kill, and they will never listen to a uppity n word. They all should be tried as terrorist the very thing they are.

She is absolutely right. The Tea Party does not deserve the disrespect or hateful words that are spewed at them. They believe in this country and only want to make it better. People need to stop being so close minded and pay attention.

Quit defending these crackers. Bottom line the majority hate being govern by a black man period. This patriotic bull was no where to be found under Bush when their voices needed to be heard. As far as i'm concerned they are a media driven entity to keep the Dems hands tied and get as little done possible. A few illustrations of the questions that this administration hasn't answered or covered. The funding for the Iraq war. Where exactly did all of that money go to while Bush was in office. For a country not to have an organised Army, no air force, navy or any kind of military. Why was so much money allocated in the defense budget. Who is responsible for the anthrax attacks that killed american citizens. Was it terrorist or a rouse. Was 911 an inside job to justify a war. Who was responsible for the energy policy and why did the lights go out on a major grid in the US, twice. Why are oil prices lower after a presidential election. These are just some of the things i think Tea Partiers if they were serious about their patriotism would be demanding answers for, not the bull they faking now. These are they same people who were knocking on the doors of the voter registration office in florida during the first Bush election. They get what they want even with small numbers because the media spotlights them, while the real injustice is taking place somwhere else. Quit being fooled people and wake up to the reality that you're being played everyday.
