The 17-year-old actor, who plays Walt on the ABC-TV hit series, heard someone trying to break in at 9:28 a.m. Police investigators state that the perpetrator tried to first knock on the door to see if anyone answered. When no one came to the door, he attempted to enter the home from the rear.

Luckily for Kelley, police arrived in no time and were able to catch the suspect who was trying to flee. Police spotted the intruder outside the premises, who attempted to reach for what they believed was a gun from his waistband. No time was wasted; police immediately fired a shot at the man but missed. Meanwhile, Kelley was still inside the home taking cover.

Police apprehended the suspect who was arrested and taken into custody.

Kelley was visibly shaken but uninjured after the real-life drama came to an end. The matter is under police investigation.
