Lil Wayne Gets Busted for Unauthorized Music Devices

Rap megastar Lil Wayne, who is currently serving time at Riker's Island due to a 2007 gun charge, was snitched on by a fellow inmate for concealing "unauthorized music contraband."


Correction officials found Wayne in possession of an MP3 charger and earphones. The items had been wrapped in foil, placed in a bag then shoved in a trash can.

Officials conducted a further search and discovered that another inmate in Lil Weezie's' wing had the accompanying music player, which doubled as a watch.

Wayne and his fellow inmate accomplice will be charged with an infraction.

How was the contraband smuggled in to Riker's in the first place? This is a question that investigators will get to the bottom of over the next few days.
