Matt Lauer and his wife of 12 years,
Annette, have split. Word on the street is that when Lauer was in Vancouver covering the Winter Olympics, he allegedly "bumped Uggs" with
Whitney Houston's half-sister,
Alexis Houston.
Houston, who also dabbles in music as a singer/songwriter/producer, met Lauer on the set of his show back in 2007. She accompanied Dionne Warwick, who had sung one of her hits for a segment on marriage. Reportedly, Warwick and the show's producers had some friction before the segment aired, and Houston squashed it. Lauer was apparently impressed with how Houston handled her cousin, sources told Hollyscoop.
The unidentified source went on to tell Hollyscoop that Houston continuously visited the set of the show. Tongues started wagging when Houston would coincidentally appear at charity events, where Lauer was also present. In March 2008, Lauer's staff booked accommodations and airfare for the young woman to accompany him to South Carolina. The source stated that they would often stay at the same hotel but on different floors. Eventually, the alleged lovers broke up late 2008 or early 2009.
The Winter Olympics might have rekindled the relationship, according to the source. When the TV host heard that Houston was also in Vancouver, he allegedly tried to reach her via publicists and stressed that he wanted to see her privately.
Houston's camp told TMZ, that the allegations are all false and that she never had any sort of relationship with Lauer and does not even recall meeting him.
Published reports state, though, that Lauer and his wife have been living apart for the past couple of months. There is also speculation that he is apartment searching in the Big Apple. Wife Annette is said to no longer be wearing her wedding ring.
And the plot thickens.

What's to say? I feel bad, i've admired Matt for a long time, he has very young kids with Annette (my namesake) I can't admire him anymore. I don't care if she looked like the new Miss America...he's dead wrong. Why do men keep doing this? Why get married if one in the long run is never going to be enough? Stay Single. How dare men try to settle down with a good woman, good wife, great mommy to their kids, keeps a good, clean home, at tip-top shape,...or even if it's a not to domestic woman. A committment is a committment it's too late to get out of it. I hope she can forgive him for the children's sake and he truly repents if he's guilty and never repeart it again. I've seen too many men in my family have a great wife and play the ladies behind her back and still have a tip-top shape home to come to, loving kids, and a great, hot meal on the table. It's not fair, they deserve to cook for themselves, and go home to a quiet, lonely house after a hot, nasty night with a filthy home-wrecker. PERIOD.

It has been said that Alexis Houston is not related to Whitney Houston in any way. Other reports say she's her half-sister. Anyway, I object to the white men who are pretending that Alexis is ugly. You have eyes. Alexis is gorgeous with a perfect hue of chocolate skin. You are liars. Who cares if she's with Matt Lauer. It's not the same thing as when a white woman goes with a black man. That sort of thing makes it harder for black women like myself who have to fend off the advances of numerous white men who get shocked at the rejection, since they've been raised to believe that all black women have no morals, are whores and want the white men.

First of all Matt doesn't strike me as being a fan or dark meat, although I could be wrong. I think he probably has the sentiments of John Mayer when it comes to that situation. Geez where am I going here? Anyway his wife looks like she could out chill a Fridgidare! I think he is climbing on the bandwagon of cheating men to boost his career. Who really cares anyway?

Of course Matt cheats on his wife. He thinks he is above everyone and is cheap as well. Matt, is the kind of guy that will not go out of his way for anyone unless he can benefit off that person. Let's remember, he takes proprecia for his hair. He is not exactly the GQ guy he thinks he is!
