Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry is mad as heck these days. Someone stole his credit cards and racked up nearly $30,000 in charges.
The New Jack artist of many trades wrote on his Web site last Friday that he had been robbed and sent out a plea for his fans to alert police if they knew who had been involved in the crime.
Perry then went on to list all of the thief's detailed charges that began on April 25 and ended on May 4. It is apparent that the thief enjoyed quite a spree with the card, from purchasing several airline and movie tickets to a whopping toy escapade at Toys R Us that totaled more than $500.

You have Tyler Perry's card and you only travel to Chicago, New York, Vegas, LA and take small shopping sprees at Express & Toys R Us???
Tyler Perry should be thankful that these small charges can be easily disputed.
Me and my entire family would've still been traveling around the world in 80 days and doing so in the finest garments.

how is it that these merchants don't ask for ID. if they did there job many of these transactions wouldn't have been possible if they were purchased in person of course.

The main store he needs to look into is Lowe's. Because somebody is hooking the person the stole the card up because they did not spend $7,000 every 3 days on Lowe's merchandise. Somebody is turning these purchases into cash, I guarantee it.
