Suge Knight Accused of Ordering Hit

Is hip-hop impresario Suge Knight up to his gangsta antics again? This time around, the former rap mogul is named in an alleged plot to kill a man from the Los Angeles area. TMZ reports that an L.A. County Superior Court judge warned Knight to stay at least 100 yards away from the intended victim.


Knight's current legal brouhaha comes on the heels of an arrest late last week, which involved charges of assault with a deadly weapon and driving with a suspended driver's license. It is still unclear whether the man who brought the restraining order against Knight is the same unnamed man who tipped off law enforcement about Knight's alleged weapon last week.

Information leaked to the press from legal papers quote the mysterious L.A. man as saying, "[Suge] had eight guys come to my house and told them to get me or kill me." The man also claimed that Suge menacingly told him that "he was out now and [was] going to take [his] life."

Knight is gearing up to respond to the alleged charges in court on June 8th.
