Racist Hate Groups are STILL LYNCHING/MURDERING BLACK PEOPLE TODAY! These RACIST HATE GROUPS have sophisticated their game from 'cross burnings' and 'tree hangings' and South African and American Burnings to out-right MURDERS; doing all the same 'HATE CRIMES' under the VENEER of LEGALITIES. These so-call 'LEGAL HATE-VEENERS' are commonly called 'MILITIAS' PROTECTED under the BILL OF RIGHTS, Amendment II [so forth..}! Not to exclude these so-call 'TEA PARTIES' which is nothing more than SOPHISTICATED HATE GROUPS! Black People to include so-call MINORITIES are being MURDERED (Lynched) TODAY just by so-call SOPHISTICATED MEANS..DEATH is the SAME RESULT! Black People to include so-call Minorities, Women and Children come up MISSING all of the time in the US! NEVER TO BE SEEN OR HEARD FROM AGAIN! 'SOUND FAMILIAR'! Our government 'seemingly' DON'T GET IT! These RACIST HATE GROUPS DO NOT LIKE AMERICA EITHER! A lot of these HATE GROUPS hold the objective of over-throwing the US government! I dislike making comments like this but my son was MURDERED under suspicious circumstances. My inner-spirit is PRAYING that Anthony Thomas be FOUND! AFTER-THOUGHT: We need 'BLACK COFFEE PARTIES' to protect the OBAMA POLITICAL INTERESTS! There is MORE OF US THAN THEM!

It's comments and assumptions like this that keep racism alive in America. I have gone out of my way to raise my child to not see color. And yet someone
like you blames everything on the color of skin. Bad things do not only happen to black children. They happens to children of all color and ages. The main point is no matter what a child race is they do not deserved to be hurt. Maybe instead
of taking the time to write your racist remarks against white people you could have spent the time to email some non local news stations to get more coverage. As per your comment "We need 'BLACK COFFEE PARTIES' to protect the OBAMA POLITICAL INTERESTS! There is MORE OF US THAN THEM!" This is the most racist thing I have ever heard. Maybe you
should put yourself others shoes. What if I would have said something like this to you. What would you call it. You do not want racism against you yet you are racist yourself. Hipocracy. This comment is wrong. People need to join together if we want to get anything done in the United States. It is not black America, it is not white America. It is just America home of the free and the brave. As for this boy Anthony, stop wasting time and energy spreading hate and spread word about this missing child so he can be found. I had a hard
time even finding his name in the comment you posted.

First of all Mr. Nelson what are you doing on Black news or in our business in the first place. You know I don't promote violence at all but if you weren't trying to figure out what Blacks or doing then you would not worry unless of course...Do you see Blacks at a KKK rally who's saying and doing the same thing so don't come at us with this can we all get alone message tell your folks to practice peace after all they were the one's who started this in the first place. Instead of investigating what the lady said she's automatically jumped on as having a racist comment so it must be true. I applaud you for raising a color blind child and so have alot of other parents and hopefully one day it works because it has to start somewhere and your children just might be the break through. Peace.

I live in the NW and have seen this story of Kyron all over the news, I was at a point thankful that the media had made this story national news. No mother wants to see a child missing, ever. Then I stumbled across Anthony's story and became outraged. No, it didn't remove my hope that Kyron was returned, but what it did was made me think: What if it were my son? Would they look for him the way they have been Kyron? I went on my facebook page and ranted about it. I looked for Kyron's facebook page, which prompted me to look for Anthony's page because surely he should have one too. And just as you would think, he didn't. So I with limited knowledge created a page on facebook for him. I could use help with it. My name is Empress Davis-Sloan and his page is simply Anthony Thomas, it is a community page so you should be able to access it. Any photos, links, anything that would be helpful to getting the site out there is greatly needed. Thank you.

Comments such as hers do not keep racism alive. Pretending racism doesn't exist keeps racism alive. Pretending we are all treated the same keeps racism alive. In America, people are not treated the same. I came to this story to find out if this child had been found. I live in Oregon where another little boy is missing - Kyron Horman. His name and picture is plastered all over the news in every state. Yet, Anthony Thomas barely gets any mention in local DC papers, and certainly has not been on national news. This disparity is because of institutionalized racism. Missing black children hardly every get recognized in the media and certainly get no national attention.
Until we recognize how society treats people differently based on their ethnicity, we will never heal the gap that exists between people of different races. White people have benefits in society because they are white. Chris Nelson, you need to look up Tim Wise and read his blog and read his books. He's an expert in race relations and how society treats people of different races. Until you are willing to step back and look at things from a perspective different than your own, you will never understand what it means to be a minority in this country. Just because people are no longer so overtly racist doesn't mean that we live in a post-racial society.
For the record, I am white. I am also the mother of a black child whom I adopted at birth. I have to understand how society treats him differently from me, because it will be me to whom he turns for guidance and support. I have had to look inside myself and face my own racial ignorance. At one time, I thought I knew all the answers, too. I have had to cut people out of our lives who do not understand their own privilege, and who do not respect that my son is representative of his people. I have had to acknowledge and recognize that my son's life will be harder than mine, simply because he is black.
Please step back from your small idea of how the world is, and read Tim Wise's writings. You will be a better person, if you do.
I hope they find Anthony Thomas soon, and that he is safe. He has a name, too: Anthony Thomas. Let's spread his name and photo across America, too.

Anthony Thomas is missing. This beautiful little boy's photo should be plastered all over DC and the country. He should be featured on Dateline and America's Most Wanted.
What a sad place for you to spit out your hate.
Is racism alive in the USA today? Sure enough. Black panthers and the KKK are out there spreading their disgusting words. But spreading hate is not okay. "Two wrongs don't make a right".
I've seen his picture here and read his story. He will be in my prayers. Won't you join me in praying for his safe return?
