Michael Jackson's Kids Have No Friends

As the anniversary of the death of King of Pop, Michael Jackson, rolls around on June 25, his children still heavily mourn his absence in their reclusive lives.

The children's grandmother and legal guardian, Katherine, recently had a sit-down with U.K. newspaper the Daily Mail and revealed some heart-tugging facts about how her grands (Prince, 13; Paris, 12; and Blanket, 8) still grieve the loss of their famous dad.

According to the Jackson matriarch, Paris, who is Michael's only girl, has transformed her bedroom into a kind of shrine to her late father. Her four walls are surrounded by pictures and memorabilia that are constant reminders of how wonderful her superstar dad was and how much he was loved by the world. The young girl also loves seeing her dad's face before she goes to bed and when she rises in the morning.

All three children are fascinated with their dad's recordings and can literally spend hours listening to him sing.

The boys on the other hand, still desperately want to please Dad, even though he is not physically here. They aspire to do things they know he would have been proud of.

Unfortunately, the children do not have a social life. Katherine reveals that they don't have friends. Since they do not go to a typical school and are taught privately in their home, a social agenda with playdates is nonexistent. Katherine, however, understands the importance of having friends and has enrolled her grandchildren at a private college. They will attend the teaching institution come September, so, hopefully, making friends is on the horizon for the children.

"To them, it's normal, it's the life they have known. They have a certain time to go to bed, then they get up and get dressed for lessons. They practice karate and swim, which they love," the octogenarian tells the Daily Mail.

Katherine also admits that she sees a bit of her son in each of his children. Paris is gifted musically and also talks about becoming an actress. Prince seems to want to be behind the scenes; he throws around the idea of one day either becoming a camera man or film producer. The littlest Jackson, Blanket, has a great sense of fun and frolic like his dad who was known for being quite the prankster.
