Talk about the Dirty South. Every once in a while, you come upon a story of a crime so depraved and cruel that you question the very humanity of some of your brethren. This is one of those crimes.
According to a
Georgia Bureau of Intelligence (GBI) news release, two brothers,
Danny Lee Arnold, 19, and
Thomas Marcus Arnold, 21, have been charged with child molestation, incest, cruelty to children and sexual battery for crimes against a 10- year-old girl.
Authorities started an investigation at the request of the
Department of Family and Children Services, after it was discovered that the 10-year-old girl was pregnant. Yes, you read that right.
Upon the discovery, authorities in Newton County, where the girl has relatives, were contacted and found that the suspects lived in Union City, where the assault and molestation had allegedly been going on for years. Years? She's 10.
The two suspects were arrested in church, after a source called in a tip. Yes, church. Clearly they had been absent for the "thou shalt not rape little girls" sermon. Thank God someone had the decency to snitch on behalf of this little girl and remove these alleged predators from the community. It is unclear at this time what the girl's relationship to these two men was. It is also unclear what the hell has gone wrong in this world.
But just when you thought you couldn't be any more disgusted, the aunt of the two brothers,
Lisa Arnold, 28, was also arrested for incest, after the GBI found evidence that she had sex with her two nephews.
The victim has since had an abortion. Debate that, Palin.
DNA has been tested to determine which of the brothers impregnated the child.
In other news, the end of days is rumored to be on its way.

That is a shame. Incest is a sin, and you are not attracted to your blood relatives, like you would be to people who are not related to you. I have never looked at a man in my family and wanted to be in a relationship with one of them because the feeling of love or lust I would have for my husband I will not feel for a relative a male relative at least you are not supposed to. It is a real shame and embarrassment for these two guys families for them to have no morales, no concience, no feelings, and to disrespect and violate a female relative is not only a sin, but it

Wow...I almost thought I was reading comments about "black men marrying white women" or "white men marrying black women" (sarcasm). Nope, it's actually a story about a terrible crime that happens daily. I'm saddened for this young girl, whether it was a black or white brother/father/uncle/grandpa or STRANGER. Instead of arguing over WHO did this, we should all be thankful that this was not you or your child.

This situation goes beyond color.. This happens everyday in ANY race. Most of us couldn't even imagine this little girl's horror. Thank God that someone spoke up for her. She and every other little girl and boy who have no one to pray on their behalf will definitely be in mine.

the writer of this article is very good. i really enjoy reading the article despite the seriousness and displeasure at the topic. the composer uses serious yet amusing humor to deflect yet highlight and emphasis the whole horrid circumstances.
