I am glad to see that some attention is being given to a black child who is missing. I hope this is a regular feature on this site. It is a tragedy when anyone is missing, but mainstream media only seems to focus on young white women and white children. Black, Latino and Aisian familiea are rarely acknowledged. Shows like Nance Grace's, for example, focus on only one case (in Grace's case she focuses on a case where the missing child was tragically found dead and nothing else can be done. ) I wish she, and others, would give at least 30 seconds to highlight one person at the end of her show--of any race-- to let some of the lives the media finds less marketable to receive some attention.
