America is heading in the wrong direction and President Obama is not helping the economy, according to a recent poll.
More than 80 percent call the economy poor or very poor, and 56 percent disapprove of the president's handling of the economy, the AP-GfK poll finds.
Just 41 percent approve of Obama's work with the economy.
With the unemployment rate stuck at close to 10 percent, a majority of Americans (60 percent) say the country is going in the wrong direction, with 61 percent saying the economy has not improved since Obama became president.
Obama's overall approval rating remains at 49 percent.
However, with just 11 weeks left before midterm elections, only 43 percent of those asked want Democrats to keep control of Congress, with 47 percent choosing Republicans.
The margin of error for the poll is 4.5 percent.

Obama doesn't know what it is to run a business. The "team" he has compiled for repairing the economy has nobody on it that has started a business, run a business, made a payroll or struggled through a bad business climate. No surprise that nothing is working that these clowns bring out. Oh yeah, unemployment is up again.

Maybe the folks have a point, you cant blame bush for ever, Once the stimulis passed, the whole ball was Obamas, and the results are as follows.
1. The Labor Department said Thursday that initial claims for jobless benefits rose by 12,000 last week to 500,000.
2. The four-week average, a less volatile measure, rose by 8,000 to 482,500, the highest since December.
3. The number of people continuing to receive benefits fell by 13,000 to 4.5 million, this apeears to be good news, however this numbers dont include millions of people receiving extended unemployment insurance. In other words it real bad
4. The number of people on the extended rolls has increased sharply in recent weeks after Congress renewed the extended program last month.
5. Private employers added only 71,000 jobs in July. But that increase was offset by the loss of 202,000 government jobs, including 143,000 temporary census positions.
6. July marked the third straight month that the private sector hired cautiously.
7. recent increases in claims provide further evidence that the economy has slowed and could slip back into a recession.
Just the cold hard facts.

I don't remember Obama...sending jobs overseas. Manufacturing jobs are done in this country. I wonder..just what kind of jobs do you want. This country is over loaded with stuff...such as food, cars, merchandise and houses. Gone are the days of high wages and paid benefits. All here before
Obama took office. How soon we forget.

Obama has proven that having a Narcissistic Liberal Fascist in the White House does not inspire hope in the private sector.

The private sector are the ones who messed up. Not the government. The private sector are the ones whose greed was unleashed by deregulation. The private sector are the ones who created the stagnate wages of the american worker even while productivity rose and their profits went thru the roof. Everybody should stop paying their mortgage. Everybody. What are the banks going to do? Throw everybody onto the street? I don't think so. This capitalistic, credit-based economy has to go.

It is gitting real silly when this president Obama and his lap dog hacks place any blame on Mr. President Bush. Obama has as we have all seen made matters so much worse. Bush did not cause Obama to be doing such a bad job. Obama is the only one to blame for the current situation and if it gets better then great. He can claim that as a victory. If it stays the same or gets worse then he needs to man up and take the blame and STOP blaming anyone and everyone even a past president for HIS mistakes. God Bless America.

This mope has crushed the dreams of good hard working blacks that voted for him because they thought it was their time and now know they should have heeded the words of Dr King when he said"judge a man not by the color of his skin but for the content of his character". The liberals that voted for him are the crooked and stupid that follow or want to ruin like the jane fonda's and bill ayers of the world and the crooked like soros. The chances for an itelligent person of color will be doomed unless the people vote this individuals people out this november and him out in 2012.
