Dr. Conrad Murray, the cardiologist who was
Michael Jackson's physician
at the time of his death and who is accused of administering a fatal overdose of the anesthetic propofol, is making a demand that has folks scratching their heads.
Reportedly, Murray plans to call Paris and Prince, Jackson's two oldest children, to the stand as defense witnesses. Murray and his legal team think that the children could help the doctor beat his manslaughter charge by acknowledging that their father had been battling a longtime drug addiction.
Sources tell News of the World:
"If they back him, it will work well in the eyes of a jury."
Murray, 57, contends that he is innocent of all of charges and that he did not give the mega entertainer anything that should have killed him.
A source familiar with the legal case told RadarOnline:
"Prince and Paris knew their dad relied on Dr. Murray to survive and knew their father adored him. Their comments, if they back him, could save him from jail because it would work well in the eyes of a jury."
Murray's lawyer, Ed Chernoff, also told RadarOnline.com:
"No decision has been made as to what witnesses will be called, and the last possible witnesses we would want to call would be the children."
Murray is scheduled to stand trial early next year. If convicted, he faces a maximum of four years in prison.

This is the most despicable act imaginable! I can't believe Murray would stoop so low as to use these poor children to try and save his sorry ass from going to jail. These kids have been through enough pain and heartache over the past year and a half after the death of their father and now Murray is asking these kids to help him avoid paying for causing the death their father? This is cruel, cold blooded and heartless selfishness to even think of dragging these kids into court to testify in his defense. This man's greedy, incompetent and negligent acts took their father away from them and practically destroyed their lives. Don't get me wrong, I do believe Michael should NOT have been using propofol, but Murray should have done the right thing and told Michael he would NOT help him by administering this dangerous drug to him. Now he is looking for MJ's kids to save him? I hope this dirty bastard rots in hell.

No worries Katharine will tell them exactly what to say. There was an African American nurse who spoke up after MJ's death. MJ had asked her to do what Murray did. This lady declined. She told her story on 20/20. Murray "knew the job was dangerous when he took it." That quote is from a cartoon named Super Chicken, that is what Murray is now. Scared to face the music and now wants to drag the kids into this to relive again. No Katharine won't let this go on for long.

Katherine,Don't allow it the children will hate it and you will regret it later in their lives. These kids have been thru a whirl of disasters first of all they had to live an abnormal life style with their father and that's going to be a challenging factor as to what psychological dammage has infested in their childhood, have mercy on what effect it all will have on them.Let's keep them in our prayers, and hope that they can be saved thru the mercy of GOD.They are adorable children and I just pray for the best for them,A success story of being the best they can be ,TEACHERS,PSYCHOLOGIST,LAWYERS,COUNSELORS,A PROFESSION THAT WILL HELP OTHER PEOPLE,FORGET ABOUT THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD,IT USELESS AND THEY HAVE ALL THE MONEY THEY NEED.MISS KATHERINE PLEASE GUIDE THEM AND WATCH OVER AND PROTECT THEM FROM VULTURES OF THIS SORT.ASSIGN SOMEONE THAT'S ENTITLED TO BE THEIR CONFIDANT,THAT WILL TREAT THEM WITH LOVE AND RESPECT AND WON'T USE THEM FOR THEIR MONEY.GOD BLESS THEM I PRAY THAT THE ANGELS OF GOD PROTECTS THEM AND KEEPS THEM SAFE FROM HARM AND EMOTIONAL STRESS.

In my opinion those children will never take the stand. I believe it's all hype. This whole Murray case is like a soap opera. That brotha is not going to jail. He is gonna walk. Dude is still practicing medicine. Notice how the trial dates always get pushed back. Come on now this is a black man accused of homicide regarding the most famous musician of this era. He would have been arrested by now. Looks like another Biggie Smalls and Tupac scenario. Sometimes I even have doubts about MJ even really being gone to be honest. I can't see him going out like that. His whole death is suspect.
