President Obama ripped Democratic voters even as he set off to beg them to save his Congress in November.
"People need to shake off this lethargy. People need to buck up," Obama told Rolling Stone magazine in an interview published online Wednesday.
"It is inexcusable for any Democrat or progressive right now to stand on the sidelines in this midterm election," Obama said.
Excerpts from the interview came out as Obama embarked on a four-state campaign swing to campuses and backyards aimed at relighting the progressive fires under young voters who helped propel him to the Oval Office.
The White House whine about the enthusiasm gap between Democrats and Republicans came on the heels of polls showing the Republicans are poised to take back the House in November and make major gains in the Senate.

Feed a man a fish you feed him for a day.
Teach that man to fish THEN "make him go fishing" guess what happens? That man rarely dies, and interestingly learns he HAS TO feed himself.
A weird side effect is he actually develops self pride and respect.
If you're not “really” physically or mentally incompetent you have no excuse.
Buying on credit knowing you can't keep up with the payments or never intend to pay it back...Puhleeeeaase!
People...get off your butts, get a job and some self-respect. Don't settle for government hand-outs. The mis-guided (but well-intended) socialist stimulus package has done a fair share of damage to this country. You cannot continue to borrow your way out of debt while giving people hand-outs intended to be a helping hand. God help this country and the President of the united States of America.
FLY OR DIE.
Keep feeding em they'll keep eatin'.
Let them fend for themselves and if they lose...Oh Well, learn from your mistakes and try again.
On your way home from WORK...Don’t forget to VOTE!

WELL LET'S SEE WHAT THE CHOICES ARE:
THE DEMOCRACTS WHO ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEMS BUT BECAUSE THE PROBLEMS ARE SO SEVERE, THEY CAN'T JUST MAGICALLY FIX THEM OVERNIGHT.
THE REPUBLICANS WHO KNOW THERE ARE PROBLEMS BUT DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF THEY ARE FIXED BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES REPONSIBLE FOR THE PROBLEMS.
I THINK I WILL SUPPORT THE DEMOCRACTS IN NOVEMBER.
AT LEAST THEY ARE AWARE THAT THERE ARE PROBLEMS AND ARE WORKING ON SOLUTIONS UNLIKE THE REPUBLICANS WHO CREATED THIS MESS.

President Obama realizes that democrats have no choice but to "buck up" and vote for them. Many white voters now have a since of what it is to be a black voter. Either vote for democrats or suffer the consequences under the bigoted republican party (led by teabag racist) that put us in this economic recession.

@ xtreme negro
Your name should be "house negro" or "teabag negro". More than likely you are just another white racist tea-scumbag commenting on a black blog.
Hispanics (who once supported republicans)and many other minorities along with white gays vote democratic because the republican party plays to it's bigoted ignorant base. They have made it impossible for any "self respecting" non white American to be part of the republican party. Only white racist and house negro's are dumb enough to go back to the failed policies of the republican party that put us in this situation.

a black man should not have power over a white man this is the whole problem.the tea party is a unmasked kkk of 2010. sarah is just making millions saying what the haters want her to say, she laugh all the way to the bank. they looks beyond all her stupid faults, but they cant see her needs.who would vote for someone who would give up their gov.office in mid terms?only a fool, this shows that shes not stable.when they catch her husband in bed with another hockey mom, thats the end of her.
