I'll admit, I'm no expert when it comes to committing criminal acts, but as a mere layperson, I DO know that the first thing the police ask the victims of crimes is if they can identify the perpetrator. The next question is usually "did the person have any identifying marks?"
Consequently, how stupid would someone have to be to rob at least 15 AT&T stores with a big dumb a** "I'm Me" tattoo on his forehead? No one would be that stupid, you may be thinking, but you'd be wrong.
Authorities in Florida are currently looking for Joseph Eric Williams, who, at the ripe age of 19, has decided he will not only rob and steal for a living but he will do so with a distinctive "I'm Me" tattoo permanently inscribed on his forehead.
There are many levels of idiocy at play here. First, who gets an "I'm Me" tattoo on his face? Clearly someone who never even considered the prospect of having a job or for that matter growing up to be age 50.
Second, police have reported that Williams also has a teardrop and a "money bag" tattooed on his face as well. You know the money bag used by banks on old cartoons or on Monopoly, with the "$" sign on it and the string around the top? Yeah, that's on his face.
Third, without attempting to hide these extremely identifiable markers on his face with some make-up or even a hat or something, he has very publicly robbed several stores.
It's one thing to be a dirtbag criminal who tries to make a living by stealing, but it's a whole other thing to be a DUMB dirtbag criminal making a living by stealing.
The police say his M.O. is to walk into an AT&T store, head straight to the iPhone display case, snatch two or three iPhones and run out the store. Watch Williams in action here.
Williams' crime spree has spanned Southern Florida, from Deerfield Beach to Miami-Dade to Palm Beach County.
Williams, who is clearly no brain surgeon, will ultimately be caught, and one more African-American man who has the potential of being a father, husband, doctor, teacher or president will be thrown in jail.
On one hand it's kind of funny to laugh at fools. On the other hand, Williams exemplifies the problem of a generation that takes instead of works. They generally have no fathers, no work ethic and no hope. They just want money and they will do everything but work to get it.
And unfortunately, they are too stupid to even get that right.
If you happen to know this fool, Crimestoppers in Florida is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to Williams' arrest.
