Republican Party leaders in central Illinois are calling on their own candidate for state senate to step down following racist remarks he made at a candidate's forum last week.
Al Reynolds, who is considered the Tea Party candidate in Illinois' 52nd District, has been unavailable to the media since saying that African American men preferred dealing drugs to going to college, because it is "easier."
"I've been in the city and the dichotomy of the women and the men in the minorities, there is a difference in the fact that most minority women, either the single parent or coming from a poor neighborhood, are motivated more so than the minority men," Reynolds said, when asked what he would do to increase diversity at state colleges. "And it's a pretty good reason. Most of the women who are single parents have to find work to support their family. The minority men find it more lucrative to be able to do drugs or other avenues rather than do education. It's easier."
The room was silent as Reynolds made his remarks.
"We need to provide ways that are more incentive, other than just sports avenues, for the men for the minorities to want to go to college and get an education and better themselves before the women have to support them all."
The comments were made at a forum co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the Champaign County NAACP, according to the News-Gazette of East Central Illinois.
The comments gave Reynolds' Democratic opponent, incumbent Sen. Mike Frerichs, plenty to respond to:
"I've been in this community for a long time now," Frerichs said. "I've been working in this community for a long time and I've worked with a lot of African-American men. They're not pursuing careers in sports. They're not trying to sell drugs. They're trying to support their families. They're trying to be good people."

I personally feel he should of said "some" men prefer to sell drugs rather than obtain an education. I hate to say it, but truthfully alot of black young men these days instantly want to take the easy way out. Whether it be by letting a woman provide for them, sell drugs, or robbing people. I will say some young black men do want to better themselves and do the right thing but honestly really don't how. There's so many black men who come from broken homes and have never been shown the "right" way. I do agree that there are far more women who have an interest in pursuing an education than men in this generation. I hope there is some incentive other than sports that will draw young men into pursuing an education. This is quite sad and it definetly concerns me.

Blacks are always the scagoat for other race wrong doings.....it seem to be a focus on Blacks...WHY...because We are doing well and successing and they are susing psycology to constantly sayig negative stuff....White kids are using drugs at an alarming rate....they are going to school just to get high and party...When someone contantly make it their point tosay and print negative things about a certain race, then turn around and try to be like them....it just doesn't add up....if Blacks were So Bad...why every summer the same people that's talking all this negative things against Blacks are laying on the beach getting "Brown"....getting Burnt and getting Skin cancer, getting Lip and butt injections, Givig each other high-five and knukel-five....you don't want to be like people you hate...It's jealousy and evil....THEY WANT TO BE LIKE US.....so this is what they do to let off their jealousy because they own the media and TV stations.....OH WELL...it's nice to be admired so much that a race of people go to ANY length to say "BAD" things about Blacks....Jealosy is a Mutta

Have you noticed that whites like to shift the attention away from themselves and force it on a community? what is happening in mexico? white americans are high on drugs, the poor are the one's suffering they are pushing these drugs through, black unemployment? solution clear them off the streets send them to jail stitch them up or plant drugs on them to keep them silent "american violet"

There still exists a sinister and vile mindset when it comes to African-American Men in America on the part of racist white men. I beseech you not to discard these statements made by this cretin, because this mindset it what preceded the murdering of Black Men in America, by lynching, a homicidal practice that continued up until the 1970's. Alas, and the beat goes on....This twisted and evil way of thinking has been institutionalized and is systematic, which explains why there exists a 'war' on Black Men in America by law-enforcement, which leads to Black Men being over-represented in the criminal justice system and thus, the prison system in America. This has been so diabolically effective that young Black Men now leads the nation in homelessness, because once they are cursed and stigmatized with a criminal record they cannot get a job to support themselves and they cannot get housing, which leads to homelessness. Alot of states have passed laws that act in concert with the aforementioned to progressively advance this social and domestic atrocity. The same twisted mentality that advances the vast and profound lies about President Barack Obama not being American, not being the legitimate lead of this nation, also believes that Black Men are 'the enemy' and employ a spectrum of demonic and immoral attacks against Black Men. These hate filled remarks are only a surface reflection of a greater sick regards, prejudice, racist, immoral and twisted mindset by these modern day 'Hitlers'. The can play 'nazi', if they choose, but I be damned if the Black Men in America are going to play 'jews'!

And Whites prefer to donate millions to legalizing pot, gay marriage, racism, laws to increase their wealth, and anything else that they feel is a necessary "right". Money drugs and sex are their concerns. All they do is party from Tea parties, to Rainbows their priorities are that of the elite. Their laws and wishes will be passed sooner than Civil Rights AND Suffrage; guaranteed. Conservatives and liberals are all conservative of THEIR lifestyles; the Caucasian lifestyle. Why do we need laws for things people freely do? Because once it's law you can tax it. Profit from it. Facebook, Google, and others gave $100,000 to prop 19. It's not about rights, it's about right now. Satisfying the ego and id. This country is decadent enough to neglect basic rights to satisfy personal wants. And Blacks jump right on the bandwagon. So NO one is innocent. To hell with all humans.
