These are the kinds of doings that make folks say, "Hmm...." A veteran correction department captain paid a visit to famed imprisoned rapper Lil' Wayne for an unexplained 45 minutes while he was in an isolation cell. Now the officer has been placed on a non-paid 10-day suspension and tongues are wagging as to what exactly did go on in that cell.
Captain Raphael Callazzo, who has been in corrections for 20 years, was caught on a security camera visiting Lil' Wayne, who is serving a one-year term at New York City's Riker's Island on a weapons conviction. Lil' Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, was caught earlier this month in possession of an MP3 player charger and headphones, which is against the rules. He was sent to an isolation cell known as "the Bing."
Although Callazzo was asked what he was doing visiting Lil Wayne for a 45-minute stint, the response he gave to department officials was not clear and still left quite a few unanswered questions:
"We don't know what he was doing. We know the camera picked him up," said one source. Collazzo's explanation "did not suffice to explain the time he spent" with the rapper, the source went on to state to the New York Daily News.
The corrections officer's union head Patrick Ferraiuolo feels Callazzo did not break any rules. He thinks that Callazzo's number of years on the job should speak for his decision-making choices.
"I spoke to the captain," Ferraiuolo said to Callazzo, Do you know what's going on? He goes, 'I have done nothing wrong...I don't have any dealings with this guy."
Well, for now, only Lil Wayne and Callazzo know what went on in that cell. In the meantime, Wayne is expected to receive his get-out-of-jail free card next month.

They love to see our Black men in Jail and in Handcuffs...what ever Lil Wayne did he do not deserve to be treated like an animal....There is a lot of jealosy with Black men and Women especially successful Black men with money......The thing about this picture is they want to have people see him in a emending way...try to break his sprite.....What ever he did not not justify them giving him a long sentences....Justin Timberland did something and YOU NEVER EVEN HEAR ABOUT IT!...swept under the rug....Lindsy Lohan and Paris Hilton NEVER GO TO JAIL...my question is Why do whites people are forgiving and get a slap on the hand while Blacks are punish severely and SCARED for the rest of their career and LIFE.........

I DON'T SEE ANYTHING HE DID WRONG I'M SURE IT'S PROBABLY UNUSUAL BUT THAT MAYBE THE ONLY ENCOUNTER HE'LL EVER HAVE IN MEETING LIL WAYNE, IF WASN'T GIVING HIM ANY SPECIAL TREATMENTS, OR GIVEING HIM THINGS HE WASN;T SUPPOSE TO, THEN USING HIS MOUTH TO TALK ISN'T WRONG, HOW DO YOU KNOW HE COULD BE THE ONE CORRRECTIONS OFFICER TO TALK TO HIM AND THEN HE COULD GET ON THE RIGHT PATH IN LIFE AND NOT END UP THERE AGAIN. ALL IT TAKES IS FOR SOMEONE SOMETIMES TO SHOW PEOPLE IN JAIL A LIL COMPASSION AND HOPEFULLY THEY'LL LEAD THEIR LIVES RIGHT. I AM NOT SAYING ALL INMATES CAN BE REHABILITATED, BUT SOME CAN BE BLESSED.

Folks................This is coming from a professional blackman's prospective. How can you sit back and endorse these "thugs" .We have young blackmen looking at these clowns as role models .Young blackmen these day are walking around with skinny tight jeans and dirty looking dreads just like Lil wayne who's laughing all the way to the bank .
Iam also a State correctional officer and a state certified gang specialist . Look at this fool .He is also disrespecting the court by wearing the folded red flag in his right pocket . So for all of you folks that do not know what it means .He is a member of the Criminal street gang called the Bloods. Yes thats right the same savages who terrorize the Black community by selling dope and killing each other over so call "respect" . Lil Wayne and others like him is not my role model nor do i buy ,or listen to their music that depict women as Ho's B's and so on .
Wake up Blackman ,Wake up Black woman ,Wake up youngmen .Get educated and stop wearing your pants below your butt .

Thank you, SS, for telling it like it is! I am sick of our young black men looking up to criminals, thugs and those that make money disrespecting decent people. Dewayne Carter might be making money looking and acting like that but you can be sure that there are thousands that are imitating him that can look forward to nothing but unemployment and the dangers of street life.
