As if superstar rapper T.I. didn't have enough to deal with, now his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, has been charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance Friday.

The charge comes on the heels of a September drug bust, involving husband T.I. The couple was arrested after making an illegal U-turn in West Hollywood. T.I. and Tiny, who are newlyweds, were booked on felony possession of a controlled substance. Officers found marijuana, codeine and ecstasy in the couple's $400,000 luxe mobile. Tiny is due in court Monday.
T.I. on the other hand, is facing an 11-month sentence for violating his supervised federal probation, which stemmed from a previous weapons charge in which he served seven months in prison. The hip-hop mega celeb, who is slated to begin his current prison term next week, did not face charges from the September drug bust.
In the meantime, a Los Angeles judge will determine Tiny's fate, but if convicted, she, too, will face prison time, possibly one year. There is speculation, however, that outpatient rehab might be another option.
The Grammy Award winner and his reality show star wife have had an eventful last few weeks to say the least: T.I. lost major endorsements from Rémy Martin cognac and Axe Body Spray, helped talk down a man on the brink of suicide, and released a song with Chris Brown.
During a recent radio interview, T.I. lamented about the mistakes he's made:
"I'm going to take it a day at a time," he said. "I got a little while to plan. One thing I'm not going do is, I'm not going to talk and make a whole lot of promises and do this or do that. I'm going to speak more through my music and my actions. And I'm going let God lead me wherever that may be."
Amen to that.

They are getting what they deserve...I hate to say it but its the damn truth. These people think because they got money they can get off easy...well news flash not all the time. They need to think about their kids...now with both parents going to jail....who going to be there for them. Smh this is a very sad situation but you gotta deal with the hand life has dealt....I feel sorry for thr kids.

I suggest that these kids be placed in the foster care system since T.I.and Tiny are unfit parents despite all the money and money does not/cannot make you a good parent and this pattern of getting into trouble and throwing dollars and highly paid lawyers at the problem to cut deals and get off the hook has got to stop.
Put those kids in the foster care system and have T.I. and Tiny prove (through tough counseling and strict standards) that they deserve their children back.
Ans as for Tiny, make her do some time (along with drug counseling) because the problem is not all drug abuse (that's an excuse), it's the fact that they both are drawn to criminality and need to understand from the courts that their fame and fortune will no longer get them off....and IMO, if T.I. does not get it together after this prison stint with his rap sheet, he will go away for a very, very long time.

There is nothing wrong with having money. This is what happens with the money has you. In other words, when you are controlled and a slave to your riches, the result is stupid mistakes and humiliation. As the bible says, "A fool and his money is soon parted." When you are in control of your wealth, you make sound investments in self improvement, family, philanthropy and retirement. These two were hoodlums before the money, they are hoodlums with the money and unless there is a drastic change-loosing bad habits, becoming more educated and spending more conservatively as superstardom is only for a season-they will be hoodlums when the moeny is gone. I can't believe how Toya looks up to Tiny when she has way more common sense and class (using a ghetto measure)then Tiny has. There is much Tiny can learn from her friend Toya. SMDH!

She better not get any time...Lindsey didn't get any, Paris LIED, and STILL didn't get any, Tiny better not get any either.
I am not condoning what she did, by any means....why make an example out of her when her white 'counterparts' were not given jail time.
The only ppl who I feel sorry for is the kids, where are they...her momma can't take care of them, not with a husband with alzheimers.
That was not only stupid of T.I. and Tiny, but incredibly selfish.
