U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is again slapping down speculation that she harbors ambitions for another presidential run.
In New Zealand on Friday, Clinton told a pair of television interviewers that she won't run for president even in the aftermath of this week's congressional midterms that saw Republicans take control of the House and make big gains in the Senate. Some have suggested that Clinton should take advantage of President Barack Obama's unpopularity to make a new bid.
She said she is very happy doing what she is doing as America's top diplomat and would not be the first female president of the United States.
She told one interviewer that the United States "should be" ready to have a woman as commander in chief. Yet, when asked if that could be her, she answered: "Well not me, but it will be someone."
Asked by another interviewer if she would rule out a White House run in 2016 or before, she replied: "Oh yes, yes."
In her interviews on Friday, Clinton, who is barred from partisan political activity as secretary of state, lamented the poor performance of her fellow Democrats but said the election results followed a trend in which the president's party losing seats in Congress after his first two years in office.
"Yeah, it's big, but it's not out of the pattern of historical political elections," she said.

She'd change her tune if Democrats were more popular. No sense running when there is no chance of winning. Regardless of who the Democratic nominee is in 2012, they are going to lose. Obama has made Democrats THAT unpopular, along with his own unpopularity.
But, don't worry. There will be a Democratic party challenger to Obama in the primaries. Someone trying to make a name for themselves, at least. And, they'll win. Again, Obama is THAT unpopular.

Here is a GREAT THING Ron Paul is going to do when he gets on the Monetary Committee in Congress. He's going to audit the Federal Reserve and let the public see the results. This is something no Democrat or RINO has ever allowed. The public will now get to see how the unconstitutional Federal Reserve has caused inflation, debased the dollar, and rewarded banks at the expense of savers.

Politics end at the water's edge and where is Hillary when asked this stupid question...New Zealand? She has no plans to run but a divided Democratic Party could give rise to any scenario. It could also give rise to a Tea Party revolution. The water is way too deep to wade into the water. Hillary is smart keeping her powder dry. Dumb questions get dumber answers.

Hillary can not, at this time, announce her true intentions for 2012 because she is STILL employed by her boss President Obama. When he decides to run OR not run, she will be in a better position to comment on the matter. She'd be an idiot to state her intentions now. Its all about timing and politics. She has a very important position at the moment so, why cut her own throat?

The only way hiliary will change her mind is if the racist rupublicans bribe her or someone in the demoncratic party and say run for the presidency just to cause disunity within the demoncratic party because remember, attack from within, attack when your party is weakest, their is nothing the white racist or racist won't do to make this president a one term president, they have already vowed to repeal the health care at whatever cost, and i say over our dead bodies all americans need health care, to those who say they don't they are lying, health care does not belong to the private sector, do americans know that albanians were reaping of their health care for years worse than the mafia and their were stealing their id's bogus doctors, patients, etc a big big scam was going on for years, illegals were also getting health care to, listen health care is needed it will bring the country's defecit down and help create more jobs, i believe this president went to far left he took it to the extreme but at least this time everybody the whole of america will turn out to vote, he cannot pull the wool over americans eyes anymore, don't make any politicans lie to you, go do your own research and check out what they are actually saying is turn, do you know that politicans are corrupt and some are taking bribes from shaddy people who are only intrested in protecting their investments and getting rich of the backs of poor people, check out the whitehouse website and see what has been passed and is waiting to be passed, if you have an idea make a suggestion, but listen this need to be done and sometimes laws have to be forced through because some politicans are quite happy to go back to washington come jan and just have a stale mate, they don't care, and while you are worried when your child or someone you know or you are sick remember this, the rich have their health covered there not worried about you, please take a look at economies in europe with health care germany, the uk, and other countries, do they have to sell their houses to pay for health care? for them a house is all they own, if you loose your home paying for health care you become homeless plain and simple. "John Q dvd watch" I am with the president on health care it is repealed over our dead bodies, from day one republicans said they hope he fails and this would be his waterloo, well the british won the battle of waterloo the last time i read. Already the economy is beginning to recovery and the defecit is going down.I want to know who regulates wall street? money is going into a black hole here.

Many Americans are already having to choose between buying food or medication. Many of our politicians are on the take from the Pharmaseutical Companies and other powerful entities in the health care industry who stand to lose a lot of money if health care is made available to all as it is in other countries. The GOP is centered on one thing, blocking the presidents efforts to govern regardless of what he does or does not do....period. No president has been shown the disrespect, venom and hatred that has been demonstrated in America since Obama's election. Europeans as well as others are astonished at the level of animosity and sheer racism thrown at our president...especially since America CLAIMS to be a melting pot of races tolerant and accepting of all.....yup...its all a lie. Women, young people, immigrants, minorities and poor whites are not included in the aforementioned. Its all self evident through the comments on FOX News via Limbaugh, Malkin and others, the Tea Party as well as the GOP.
