This is for all yall ignorant people talking bout he got wat he deserved, furst of all this article is not correct. Larue did exchange words with them before he exited the store. He was followed outside the store and thats when he was struck across the head with a crowbar. Last time a check the 1st Amendment is Freedom of Speech. It doesnt matter what someone says, it doesnt give u the right to assault or kill them. Larue wasnt the first person to b attacked by these Arabs but unfortunately no one reported them. Before u make negative comments just remember that it could have been one of your relatives.

Li Wright, you are telling the truth and the facts as it should be!! I responded to yours because 1) you see that Paul Shepard has made a accusation(or I should say repeated what the peepz in FL are saying)with out any facts AT ALL!!! No one there heard the clerks call Akil any names? The only one who was being racist and calling name was Akil! So why is PS saying "he could of been killed cause he was black"?? Just bad writing and ignorant and irresponsible with what it seems Mr Shepard already knows which is it is causing high emotions! For a minute there I though Dr Watkins wrote this mis-leading shigity!! But 2) Li Wright you were also the only one who could see that the clerks were not racist but still do it with out sinking right down to the same level as so many on here(that complains about being stero-typed or called degrading names and then turn right around and do it to some one else and then justify it in some B.S. way!!) by calling the clerks or the deceased any degrading things! To me Akil started this and it was his fault and his fault alone(not a shared blame as Mr Shepard tries to imply). He even had a clean break from the situation but went back and opened it back up, for 7cents?? As for the clerks, Mr Shepard neglects to note that the video's were running in the store and they will come out! Now when they come out,I will give my opinion on what the clerks did. But the only known fact is the Akil started a big rant about 7cents, called peepz racist names, was lead out by off duty officer (oh btw akil was telling them they were Sand Ni*****, and that they should go back home?? How Sad!!) then came back started more shigity and caught a beat down!! Deserved to die..most likely not but will wait for the video to be sure! But in no way does Mr Shepard have any grounds to say any one but Akil F***** up!! You want to talk smack to some one cause you think you can...take your chances. But remember the guys he pulled that on comes from a country where War is a part of their daily lives, do you think some threat from a street punk is going to scare them?? NOT! They deserve to be here as much as any one!

He did not deserve a "Beat Down", not for 7-cents! What he deserved was his change from the store owners as a gesture of goodwill to a customer, and that would have avoided the argument, they would not be in jail for killing a man, and this life which was lost would still be a valuable gift given by God! None of you know what was said, but it is known that BOTH sides were engaged in an argument that turned violent! All IRATE CUSTOMERS are usually afforded the benefit of doubt, and I'm sure most of you have been in a store/custoner situation over something wrong and the store relented in your favor to make it right...now, you have the audacity to display such a Holier-than-thou attitude towards this man! with two against one, at least one of the two in any fight, seem to find some "bravery" to escalate the situation. Hate always brings stupidity into the mix! To paraphrase, "The store owners acted STUPIDLY"!
