"Sarah Palin said in a television interview on Monday evening that she agreed with bipartisan calls for civility in the wake of the Arizona shooting rampage, but she vowed to not be deterred from political debates while deciding whether to run for president," the New York Times reports.
"Peaceful dissent and discussion about ideas -- that is what makes America exceptional," Palin said in a prime-time appearance on the Fox News Channel. "We won't allow that to be stifled by a tragic event in Arizona."
Palin, a former Alaska governor, said that she had not yet decided what course her political future would take, but declared: "I'm not going to sit down. I'm not going to shut up."
The AP: Palin, defending herself against criticism following the Tucson, Ariz., shootings, said Monday that she used the term "blood libel" to describe comments made by those who falsely tried to link conservatives to the assassination attempt against Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

I Dont see why the [DUMBRATS] DEMOCRATS want to blame SARAH PALIN for the TUSCON KILLINGS. Keep doing a good job SARAH because next year, we are going to get the [DUMBRATS] DEMOCRATS OUT OF OFFICE: Next year.

No one was blaming Sarah Palin for the Tucson shootings. What is being said is that her rhetoric and her "cross hairs" map and her comments about "reloading" were possibly part of the reason why this person went off the deep end. It was evidenced that right after the shootings, her target map was taken down. If she believes there was nothing wrong with this map, then why take it down? I don't believe that Sarah Palin has the knowledge or experience to run this country. IF (and that's a big if), she runs and wins, she has got to realize that she can't quit in the middle of a term because it gets too hot. She didn't understand the meaning of the term "blood libel" and she misquoted MLK in her interview on Fox. It should be obvious to most that she is not ready and may never be ready.

Doing a good job, did you say? Just what planet are you from? N2b4u gave you a resounding response that hits the mark. Moreover, nobody exclaimed that Palin was soley responsible for the shooting. However, it is possible that her rhetoric and/or misguided actions could have contributed to the shooting itself. Get your facts right teabaggeredgar.

What are republicans going to run their election on race? undermining the black man? they are doing a dangerous thing by letting african americans go from their jobs, this is so dangerous, they did the same thing to us when MLK was around so many of us suffered and lost our jobs for what spite!
