on reports Thomas is expected to file annually as a condition for being on the Supreme Court.
Whether Thomas intended to be deceptive with the omissions is not clear. However, many claim that his wife's affiliations were common knowledge and that he'd simply misunderstood the rules. At the same time, the filing modification reignites conversation about the depth of his wife's activism within the Republican Party.
A few months ago, Virginia Thomas' affiliation with the Tea Party was noted by the media. She has also appeared on Fox News and other national media outlets, citing the "tyranny" of President Barack Obama. She used half a million dollars to launch Liberty Central, a nonpartisan Educational group that claims to teach "Founding Principles-limited government, personal responsibility, individual liberty, free enterprise, and national security."
Virginia Thomas' work with the Tea Party certainly serves to undermine the credibility of her husband's alleged impartiality on the Supreme Court. But some would say that there wasn't much credibility in the first place, at least as it pertains to Thomas' status as an African American judge. Nearly everything that Thomas represents is a reminder that the fight for equality goes deeper than the color of one's skin and that if we are deceived by one-dimensional measures of blackness, we are always going to end up disappointed.

So Boyce, Let me see, so what is the difference between Clarence Thomas and lets say Maxine Waters or Charlie Rengal, or your pick for Chicago Mayor Carol Moseley Braun, Oh my ... he's a Republican....so he's a renegade Black that sold out his people and deserves to be showcased on BV.
And the icing on the cake is his wife was on Fox News, she may as well have kissed the devil...

How can someone who is a judge say he didn"t understand the rules. As the judge told the convict ignorance of the law is know excuse.I am quite sure that he is not doing his own taxes and if he is maybe he should go to H&R Block and get a professional opinion. As far as his wife kissing the devil she is doing that everytime she kisses his ugly ass.

No Bruce, the problem is that Rep. Rangle was stripped of his seniority and rebuked in the House while most rule breaking Republicans i.e. Thomas, get off scott free. Double standards. Imagine if that had been Sotomeyer or Ginsberg, we'd never hear the end of it from Hannity, Limbaugh ect.

If Ms.Pettway knows she was wrong stealing the
baby from the hospital she needs to stand trial for kidnap, but if her mental ability can not distinguish right from wrong she can file incompetent.
