Just one year after his secret wedding, Terrence Howard is getting divorced.
Howard's wife, Michelle, filed a divorce petition with a Los Angeles court on Jan. 27, the same day they separated, according to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.
In her petition, Michelle said she's splitting from the 'Law & Order: Los Angeles' star due to "irreconcilable differences."
The couple wed Jan. 20, 2010, but the 41-year-old actor didn't announce it until the Cannes Film Festival that May.
"To come here and be with my wife, it's the best feeling in the world," he told Anderson Cooper in an interview with CNN.
Michelle noted in her petition that "there are community and quasi-community assets" that they have yet to divide, though she wants "miscellaneous jewelry and other effects" to be declared separate property.
She is also seeking attorneys' fees.
This was, technically, Howard's third marriage. He married and divorced Lori McCommas, the mother of his three children, before remarrying her in 2005 and splitting again shortly after.
In 2008, Howard spoke to The Guardian about his up-and-down relationship with McCommas, saying, "She's the only woman I know I could love for the rest of my life."
"I'd marry her again, to tell you the truth," the actor said, before admitting he's been tempted by other women.
"I'm always asking, 'Is this a temporary love?'" he shared. "That's the scary thing. I fall in love real quick but out of love even quicker."

Like Halle, I knew Terrance had some issues. Unfortunately, Terrance seems to be the type, only in love with himself. I guess I could give you props, for admitting this. Any woman fool enough to marry you, is looking for a roller coaster ride of heartache and disappointment. Wise up women.

Ok Just, I don't know if thats true or not, but I am asking myself what the hell is going on out in Cali? Is there something in the damn water or what? People out there just need to stop getting married peroid. And even when you don't there's still drama, Halle. And even when you just dealing with the ho's, there's still drama, Charlie Sheen. I was told that in Vegas you can place bets on how long celebrity marriages will last. The really sad thing is that even if your slap-a-ho comment is true, there are women out there that would say "Girl, as fine as he is, he could slap me all day". So some women get what they ask for. I am very sorry to hear that his soon to be ex wife has filed for DIVORCE. HOWEVER, we all need to take that proper time to REALLY get to know someone before we just COMMIT to them and a especially to marriage.

LOVE? I want to know what good LOVE is. That is nowhere near Love, much less good LOVE. We are easy to brain wash. Good LOVE do not misbehave itself. Good LOVE is GOD ALMIGHTY. He made us in His image. When you give anthing less than good LOVE we are mocking GOD ALMIGHTY. Look like we easily get other things confused with good LOVE.
