According to TMZ, Rihanna's attorney, Donald Etra, tells E! his client wants to downgrade the restraining order -- which has forced Chris to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna since he beat her on the night of the 2009 Grammys.
Etra says he hasn't asked the court to change the order yet -- so there won't be a Grammy night reunion this weekend -- but Rihanna's change of heart hints there could be one in the near future.
E! Online reports that Rihanna has requested that the restraining order be dropped to a level one, which would allow Brown to be in contact with her so long as he does not annoy, molest or harass her. Ostensibly, this was done so that they can both attend award shows, though Brown won't be attending the Grammys despite his nominations.
Brown was also sentenced to 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and 1400 hours of public service, of which he began by cleaning a horse stable. He's completed 582 of those hours.

If Chris Brown has any intelligence at all,and values what's left of his career, he will stay as far away from her as he can. Move on and remember this as a valuable lesson learned.

I agree EJ. I don't agree with what he did,and we don't know the whole story, but for this guy to continue his work in the studio, write and produce the best product he can this incident would be a distance memory.
Even if she approaches him, he needs to say Hi,Bye. Just like that and no in-betweens.

If she wants closer contact, let her confess to America about her attack on Chris while he was driving the car. She started this violence; she needs to fix this mess she created out of jealousy. Tell America and the world about your attack, and apology to Chris for harming him.Be the woman you mother and father would be proud of; take responsibility for your actions.

He needs to stay away from her, period. His career is just now recovering from that whole mess and it wouldn't do any good for him to be in contact with her again. Just leave it alone.

So far Chris Brown has stayed out of trouble. I, for one, am shocked by how good his behavior has been. I pegged him to be a guy that likes to hit but apparently I was mistaken. So if he's smart and has people around him who are smart, he will avoid Ri at all costs. I like Rihanna's music, but I think she has issues, let's put it that way. I think she enjoys the danger, and likes to push men to the point where she feels like she's making them lose control. Physically or romantically. And if it gets too rough, she throws blame. Not that there is any excuse for domestic violence- there isn't. Ever. But there are some women who like it as long as no one says anything to them about it, they don't lose money, their image isn't damaged, etc. That's just reality.
