A Mississippi mother was arrested Wednesday, after Mississippi police discovered the burned body of her 3-year-old son in the oven at her home. A Washington County coroner will determine through an autopsy whether the child was dead before or after he was placed in the electric unit.
Greenville officers responded to an emergency call that was placed, but they would not reveal who made it since an investigation is still pending. When they arrived on the scene and entered Terrie A. Robinson's (pictured) apartment, they opened her oven and found her child's, Tristan, still-warm body shortly after midnight.
Methel Johnson, the county coroner, said he has seen quite a few startling things in his career, but seeing the child's burned body being pulled out of the oven is a memory that he will forever be unable to erase. Johnson noticed that the boy's head had encountered some level of trauma but could not speculate until he investigates further.
Police also found a little girl in the home whose age or relationship to Robinson has not been released; she has been placed with the Mississippi Department of Human Services.
Robinson's twin sister, Sherrie Robinson, vehemently defended her sibling, urging everyone not to judge the 24-year-old until all the facts are with police investigators:
"She was a great parent, a good person. We don't know what's wrong. We don't know what happened. Do not sit there and call her a bad Mom 'cause that's not what she is," Sherrie told the WXVT-TV.
Robinson, who faces a murder charge, will be arraigned on Thursday. It is still not known if she has hired an attorney to represent her in the case.
Did Robinson kill her child while in the grips of a mental disturbance? If so, should the judge be lenient? Or was she merely a murderous Mom?
Some experts say that a Mother's "unconditional love" is a fallacy and that oftentimes their love is dictated by a number of things, such as economics, gender roles and the emotional support she receives from her partner.
Time will tell what Robinson's reasons were for allegedly killing her child. If she did kill him, may her punishment fit the crime.

This woman is pure evil... mental illness cannot be used as anykind of an excuse for her sadistic action... The poor child had abrasions but turned out to have died from hyperthermia (he was alive when she stuffed him into the oven) according to the corroner...
The death penalty is too good for her, she should be put in a hole and sustained with cooked refuse... while the guards constantly remind her of the pain her child must have undergone...
I pray she ends up burning for eternity in hell.

This woman had to have been under mental duress to do this to her own child. Hell, you have to be under mental duress to do that to anybody. I doubt that even her twin would have said nice things about her if this was a part of her character. They didn't say whether she spoke to authorites or not. There is something very wrong going on with this woman's mental state. Even the woman in Texas that drowned her five kids was found to have been under mental, though she had to chase the last child down to kill him. So lets see what happens with this one

GIVE ME A DAMN BREAK. You didn't say that s**t over on that story about the boy that they claimed killed his mother over a damn playstation. I don't remember yall saying no s**t like "He must have been under MENTAL DURESS to do that to his mother". I swear to God you DUMBASS people need to quit that onesided mess. Now what in the hell could a 3 year old have done? ANSWER, NOT A DAMN THING. How is it that you can see the "MENTAL ILNESS" of this WOMAN, but couldn't in the other case? I guess because he was a male and of course they're just evil. I have said it many times NOT EVERY WOMAN THAT HAS A BABY IS FIT TO BE A MOTHER.

You wasn't talking about "he must have been under MENTAL DURESS" then. But when it's a damn female here come the damn excuses. MENTAL DURESS, my ass, the b!tch was CRAZY AS HELL. What he hell could a 3 year old have done? ANSWER, NOT A DAMN THING. Just like I been saying somebody knew her ass was crazy and did nothing about it to protect this child. BLACK PEOPLE need to start dealing with our mental health issues and quit acting this this s**t doesn't exsist and stop acting like we so damn shocked and sad and "how could this happen". It happens cause CRAZY people running around with kids that they don't need to have and families that don't give a s**t. IT'S TIME TO GET REAL PEOPLE.

Clarke you are saying the same thing that I said you're only being stupid about your wording. There is definitely a mental issue here. No one is denying that. So I used the term "mental duress". What's the difference in being under mental duress and just plain going crazy as you put it? Huh? You put it the way you want to and I'll write the way I want to. That doesn't make either of us wrong, duh. Now blow it out of your porthole.
By the way airhead, my statement concerning this woman had nothing to do with black people. I stated that NO mother in her right mind would do that.

There is no mental illness here. Any one knows that if you put a baby in the oven it's going to die. The world has bought into mental illness and no one is accountable for anything. The drug industry loves this because they are getting super rich off of all of the mentally disturbed people out here. Everyone who does something crazy is not mentally ill, most people are just plain CRAZY. Take responsibilty for your own actions and stop blaming your craziness on mental illness. Enough already.
