Hip-hop star Nate Dogg, 41, has reportedly passed away after suffering from health issues for several years. Long Beach's Press Telegram was first to report the Long Beach native's death.
While no details have been released as to how the smooth singer -- real name Nathaniel Hale -- died, it has been reported he suffered strokes in both 2007 and 2008. Nate Dogg was a collaborator with hip-hop megastars, including Eminem and Dr. Dre, and he is a founding member of the hip-hop group 213 with Snoop Dogg and Warren G.

I know he had been sick for a while, but didn't realize it was that bad or that he had more than one stroke. Prayers to his family, and his musical family.
Brothas and Sisters, let's put forth an effort to start taking care of ourselves.
R.I.P Nate Dogg

Don't worry girlking, white people like maxwell wen they die they suffer very harsh, also he made that comment because it's he who is in love with fried chicken and black people. think i'm lying why do white people like to tan? Ergo to be dark they call it having color to their skin. Each white person wants to be black without the racial profiling that we get. Rude comments like his are funny he can't help himself it's just how his ignorant parents raised him remeber their not only his parents there also his sister and his brother. So have a great day girlking and let maxwell really growup...

You are so on point with that statement Justifyed! I notice Nate Dogg was only 41. I have lost 4 relatives (2 male cousins, 2 female cousins) in a 10 year period from 2000-2010, who all died under the age of 50 because of health problems or not really taking good care of themselves. RIP.

This makes me very sad. I was praying that he would get a second chance because his voice is and will be missed in the entertainment business.
I love him, my brother Nate!

R.I.P. Nate Dog. My condolences goes out to his family & friends. May God Bless and help his family get through these hard & difficult times. I didn't know he was that sick? All I heard on BV not too long ago that he was sick, but don't remember what? I like to know what he was sick from? Hopefully they will release more details.
MTV Jams are playin all his songs right now. Bring back memories. What were your favorite Nate Dog song or songs? I know a couple of my favorites were, "Regulator" with Warran G, "21" Questions/50 Cent, and there were others. Nobody could do it like Nate.

I was completely shocked when I turned on my computer this morning and saw that Nate Dogg passed away. I did not know that he was sick. I grew up listening to Nate Dogg. I remember thinking when he first came out how different his style was. No one was singing quite the way he did it. He had a great voice. Rest in peace Nate Dogg.
