The color "black" is viewed as "comely"--meaning, BEAUTIFUL. I will not take some rag-magazine like Psychology Today
as an authority on my personage, but rather chose the Bible as the ultimate authority. I believe in God's point of view. As the Bible is the inspired word of God (The Creator Himself is Jesus)) I was designed in the height of Jesus'glory as is mentioned in Revelations 1:14:
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

In other words, I am created in His image!
Our God, Jesus, created us so much like Himself
that we really cannot allow some rag-magazine to be taken seriously above the INSPIRED (God-breathed) Word of God.

Actually, God is referred to the most ancient religious texts (The Vedas) as Shyama (Dark in Sanskrit - the oldest textual language on Earth) and as Kalachanji (Black Cloud-colored). Most folowers of the Vedic tradition understand that God has a personality and material form... and that form is dark in color. Most commonly his name is celebrated as Krishna (All-attractive).

As for us humans, the body is only a dressing and regarding any differences in color, size, features, gender, etc. is a low form of thinking. The spirit soul is all that really matters! Hare Krsna!

Interesting trend these days: Slim hug, Ochocinco, Little Wayne the recent NFL player arrested for raping a Black woman saying his defense is that he does not does not even Black women , not this Asian guy. he feel comfortable saying this perhaps because of the negative comments by Black men. Funny ow no one ever openly disses Jewish, Latino or Asian women. Colonialism/brainwashing in 3rd world countries /white supremacy has left it's mark. In addition Asian women are obsessed with bleaching their skin.

The new, refined African and Afro-American woman has taken the world by storm. She is in charge of self, her career, her own finances, her spirituality, communes with her God and is often seen as POWERFUL.

She comes crowned, "Made by the Lord her God", because He chose to make it so, and not even the gates of hell has been able to slow her march.

Black women are just as beutiful as White women or Hispanic women. I'm White. I can say this. I can lump women in to two categorys. Color really doesn't apply. You have good looking women, and then you have ugly women. Take your pick.

Sadly, that's how the media has portrayed it. And if you notice there are a lot of social circles where they include a black male but not a black female. It's almost like they have this precedence over us, it's foolish and sad. Maybe it has to do that they tend to kiss white people's butts more than black women do.
