Because we do not often go outside of our race to date or marry and a large percentage of our Black men are imprisoned (for whatever reason, not all justified), gay, or are not pulling their own.
We have to work hard and focus on our families because our men are absent from our lives. therefore we are holding it down twice as hard as other races have to and do not have the time to leisurely date as other races.

You two ladies need to speak for yourself. Being a happly married Black woman, the men I know/knew are productive Black men educated without criminal records, with great jobs and wonderful families.
My many married female friends have no complaints about their marriages as I don't either. I'm sorry you two ladies, have had some bad situations however, there are plenty of good Black Men around. It's just being around the right people to find them.
It took me a while to realize that. But they are definitly around!

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No race holds the key. I have met people who when at first glance looked unatractive then after I talked to them their beauty flowed. To claim that black men are the most handsome is absurd! Keep the jokes coming!

70% single... please being a beauty has not a damn thing to do with not being married.. there are lots of black couples married, you cant make that judgement when you dont know all black people! Have you surveyed every black household in the world? NO! I have a family of married people that have been together for years.. nobody surveyed them.. get lost with that!! And i can also say if the other race of women are so hot, why do their men cheat, or end up doing away with them or run to another Country and pay for little underage kids or mail order brides from other Countries!

Eric-did you not get any love or support from your mother.Your hatred of black women is irrational bordering on mental instability.You need to seek help for your condition as you are too bitter and insecure when it comes to black women.It seems you remain obsessed with them yet you are so full of hate.You have been brainwashed by this society and need to get some pride and work on your low self esteem.Mental slavery has got you good.
This should not be a story it appeared on some random blog and was removed because it is racist, the same author is always writing stupid stories about black people-why are Africans less intelligent, why are black people more criminally inclined,he is a bigot and needs to get a life.
Sadly single rates in the black community and low marriage rates have nothing to do with the looks of the black women and everything to do with black men who refuse to stay in school, go to college, stay out of prison and stop killing each other rather than working to support there families.Most black men are with and always will be with Black women we have a great example in President Obama.

This survey...as you call it is nothing more than a carefully designed s**t stirer!...The European standard of beauty is an outdated form of measurement that promoted racial superiority in anglo-saxon dominated countries...including the good ole' U.S.A. The real truth of the matter is that Black or African American features are among the most desired features of all women on the planet! The full lips which Black women have are succulent and sensuous if you've never been kissed by a woman with full lips you really have'nt been kissed. White women around the globe have been trying to attain the same lips through collegen injections but to no avail....they look like clowns because they were not meant to be on non-black faces. Second the complexion of Black women range from butterscotch to mahogany... white women can only attain this through sun tan lamps or risk sunburn and skin cancer if they lay out in the sun!
Black women has the most curvy and natural body shapes of all women on the planet those that don't
try to attain thick voluptuous hips and asses through pads and implants. The bottom line is if Black women were the least attractive women on the planet why is it everything i just mentioned above is something non-black women spend thousands of dollars trying to emulate??? cased closed! To my beautiful black sista's out there don't buy into this bulls**t you are and alway's will be the queen of the earth!

@truther I am white and have been around for over 50 years. In that time I never met, knew of or saw any white women who wanted to, or tryed to look like a black women, Never! I don't know what fantasy land you are living in but say on the topic of why you are ugly and leave the envy of the real people of color the caucasain people at home at the crib.

Nothing personal, but why do white people come on Black Voices and spew some sort of racial tones towards Black people.
You may not but, don't you think whites should speak out against racial hate.
If so, where is the responce from whites when you see bigoted statements coming from some whites on this site towards blacks for no reasons?
If you go on all these blogs you will see race baiting starts from whites, not Blacks!
