As venomous as Dane Gothel is a statement with as broad a generalization as "The Black Community." There is no Black Community just like there is no Mafia. Ask any Italian. As far as enslavement is concerned it is a byproduct of objectification and profit motive. Now we use robots and outsourcing. In the not to distant past red lining set the boundaries of "The Black Community." For "The Red Community," Reservations.

Yet Bishop Jackson is not the first to claim that Democrats enslave blacks. It is an argument that rages in the black community and it’s a common claim coming from the right. Blatantly racist conservative blog Obambi.com posted in January that “Democrats have ENSLAVED blacks for over 50 years through welfare, food stamps, medicaid and other entitlements…..like keeping a crack addict dependent on you by keeping them addicted…” and Joey Farah of World Net Daily argued in August that, “leftists have not done anything positive for blacks since some of them supported the Voting Rights Act of 1964....."

Entitlements are available to all races of people and there are more white people on welfare and food stamps then there are blacks taking advantage of these programs.

And just what do you think the republican party is going to do with/for blacks? Yea right a big zero nothing! they never have and they never will. Why do whites always think they know the condition of the black race? Because they helped to cause it! What about the state of the white race, your paranoid about the growth of the bi-racial population because you will no long dominate the country with a pure white race. Your fearfull of President Obama because he is black and educated and you can't deal with it. As long as the republicans keep thinking that they dominate the country with their views you won't get back in the white house. And the black populations biggest problem is (some whites not all) who refuse to believe that this country IS racist, and refuse to understand the real meaning of being racist definition: Whites who believe they are superior to anyone who is of color and are threatened by anyone of color that could possibly be more intelligent than they are, have more education then they do and who could potentially make more money than they do, or be promoted over them. In a nutshell racism is paranoia to the highest degree displayed by (some) white americans. Black people can only be racist if they are the oppressors whites are the only oppressors in this country they control everything.

...Michael as usual you are correct...most black people do not understand the dynamics of politics to begin with!..They actually believe in the policies of the democratic party as a positive for Black people. Niether the Dems, or Republicans truly represent blacks, both parties are managed by the same puppeteer. We need to implement our own political party that would truly represent the interest of blacks and other minorities who are fed up with the broken promises of canidates once they achieve their goal of securing the office of presidency.

Reading this derogratory, disresoecting crap written in this comment section is sickening and disheartening. You people talk of the President as if he were going to be this Magical Merlin when he was elected. No, I don't agree with everything that has happened why he has been in office, but it could be much worse. You are quick to blame this administration for all that is going on now, when you need to placing them blame on job loss, and the economic downfall on all of these corporations and companies that pulled jobs away from the american people and sent them overseas. I don't hear nor see anyone going there. Immigrants do not take jobs away from the people, so you may as well dispel that belief as well. They generally take the jobs that "americans" think that they are too good for. America will never get anywhere because there is always someone standing around pointing a finger at what someone else did or did not do. This country has become a selfish cess pool of greed! Stop blamming everyone else and start with the one you see in the mirror and take iniative to make things better, action speaks louder than words, anyone can write them!

Having worked both with and for immigrants, I assure you, they can and do frequently take jobs that could be done by Americans. Very high paying jobs in many cases. For example, working in patent law I have seen about 10% of the top incoming jobs taken by immigrants. This, when 95% of law school graduates never work in their field. Never. You are a fool if you think more than a tiny percentage of immigrants work in the fields. They can and do take jobs from U.S. citizens, but EMPLOYERS COMMIT PERJURY TO OBTAIN THEIR VISAS, STATING THAT NO U.S. CITIZEN COULD DO THIS JOB. Perjury is a jailable offense, which those signing for their businesses would do well to consider.
