Abduction, murder, force labor, rape and family break-ups from the sale of slaves resulted from slavery.
The notion that Black folk did better in slavery from this group is idiotic stupidity at it best and thats for those caucasians fools.

You folks who come on Black voices with your cut and paste articles that proves nothing but, most of you Caucasians are un-informed trying to prove a notion of knowing Black culture and history but, don’t know jack.

As my family history taught me, after slavery Black families and communities stuck together, build homes and worship in their own communities.

Yes, we know Black owned slaves, but what you purposely fail to mention was that many Blacks who brought slaves set them free or were family members of the buyers.

When families separated and moved to other states, they arranged to have families reunions.
(Not common with caucasians)

Hey, fella. Caucasians lost their creditability with Blacks, Asians, Hispanics and Arabs long ago.

That’s why its un-safe for many of them to leave this country.

Now, back to the issue of slavery. Every country in the world, chattel slavery most certainly still exists in the world in other forms equally as vile, such as sex slaves. So, lets not single one particular country based on color.

In the face of universal condemnation, slavery and similar practices remain a persistent problem throughout the Twenty first century.

In addition to traditional slavery and the slave trade, these abuses include the sale of children, child prostitution, child pornography, the exploitation of child labor, the sexual mutilation of female children, other human exploitation in prostitution, the use of children in armed conflicts, debt bondage, the sale of human organs, and the continued trafficking in people.

The sex trade is alive and well in most of the Middle, Far East, India, or South America and Europe.

Information on slavery is very in exact, but is believed that the majority of slave victims, in the neighborhood of 80 percent, are of the female gender, and that around 50 percent are children.

So, if you are going to type about slavery as a practice, that Iowa group need to include the low life Europeans who spend huge amounts of money having sex with little girls.

Why don’t you, the tea party and this Iowa group include that while they are so busy focusing on Black slavery and how many Blacks brought slaves and except the fact it happened in the United States and whites contributed and profited from it.

If whites didn’t want slavery! It should have not taken a war to stop.
Just be glad, we’re not shoving reparations down your throat.

Black slave-masters were about as numerous as the Clarence Thomas's, Herman Cains, Omari Hutchinson's are today. These yellow dogs were and are support by racist whites who use them as wedges and tools against their own people. They don't represent black consciousness. Only self-prevaricating whites feel good about believing that fairy-tale! They have the need to justify their cruel and inhuman behaviour and do so by lying to themselves that the humans they captured under the barrel of the gun, held in chains and captivity, wanted to be their slaves!

Such has been, and is, the mentality of these maggot-colored neanderthals who, with newly aquired weapons of mass destructions, tells the world their new mission is to bring 'democrazy" and "police the world for peace" , when their wicked intentions is and always been is to continue to wage illegal and barbaric wars, terrorizing nations solely for the purpose of global hegemony of resources, acting like the leeches they've shown themselves to be over, and over again, through-out written history, poisoning the earth and threatening the very existence of mankind today! Everywhere the white-man go, he brings corruption and confusion, wars and oppression so much that, he's not welcomed on earth so he wants to go to the Moon!

Yo Dude - I don't know who you think you are talking to but let me tell you this. You and all the other conservatives that think Black people here only whine can kiss where the sun don't shine. I don't give a damend about Haiti or any other Black cultural group outside of America because this is where I live. You believe this because you like believing that Blacks are inferior, and that we need to take direction rather than lead. To believe Blacks preferred to be slaves is so much simpler than doing research and using the findings to form logical, rational, conclusions.
Blacks knew nothing other than slavery, they knew only violence and hatred towards them, they were up close and personal with being treated unfairly based solely on the color of thier skin. This treatment came from men, women, children, clergy, deputies, judges, and quite literally, everyone who chose to hate them. They didn't prefer slavery, they preferred not being beaten, killed, raped, burned, or hanged, maybe even dragged through the street from the back end of a horse or wagon. Oh, yes and how about this, after all of this was inflicted on them a doctor, who took an oath would refuse to give even the most basic treatment, they'd treat a dog before they'd treat a Black person. They never received a wage, they had nothing, no home, no land, no materials, even though they and thier families for generations did nothing but toil. No holidays off, or paid or unpaid vacations. They knew the likelihood of aquireing any of these things from the very people who went off to war and sent thier sons off to war because they would rather die than give these people thier freedom was not going to happen. Are you serious, Blacks preferred slavery? Don't say that to anyone else, they'll think you're really, really stupid. I'm just saying.

Yes Jim, you're so right....slaves loved watching thier wives, mothers and daughthers raped by white slavemasters. And they loved watching thier fathers, husbands and brothers beaten while the skin ripped from thier backs. Oh and lets not forget how lucky they were to have thier children and family members sold off to other plantations only to never see them again. Oh oh.... and we can not forget to mention that they were fed the leftover animals parts that the white man didnt see fit for his own family to eat. And yeah....lets not forget the fact that they couldnt educate thier children or learn to read for fear of being killed. And lets not forget the wonderful living conditions afforded them by thier lovely white landlords!

Jackass! Slaves stayed on the plantations because they had nowhere else to go. They stayed because even though they were free, the white man didnt treat them as such. They stayed out of fear. They stayed becuase they were uneducated.

Maybe you should read some BLACK HISTORY books instead of the white history books you are obviously accustomed to reading.
