I wasn't quite sure what to expect with the recent interview between Tiger Woods and Robin Roberts of ABC's 'Good Morning America.' I have a great deal of respect for both Woods and Roberts, but as with most Americans, I'm never quite sure what to expect next out of Tiger Woods. The man who was a consistent beacon of greatness seems to be determined to become a tired, old man right in front of our eyes.

Kensley Hawkins: Asked to Pay for Incarceration with Jailhouse Earnings

Kensley Hawkins (pictured) was sent to prison in 1980 for the murder of one man and the attempted murder of two police officers in Chicago. He had an 8-year-old daughter and was going to be in prison for a very long time.

During his time in prison, Kensley earned $75 per month building furniture in Joliet, Ill. Somehow, he was able to save $11,000 during his stay in the penitentiary as a small tribute to his daughter, who is now nearly 4 years old. But the state of Illinois is not satisfied and has asked that Kensley be required to pay for the costs of his incarceration.

Congressional Candidate Jack Davis Says Illegal Immigrants Should Be Replaced by Black Teens

Western New York Congressional candidate Jack Davis (pictured) said some things in recent meetings that made even his fellow Republicans flinch.

As a solution to the black unemployment problem, Davis suggested shipping inner-city black youth out to farms, while simultaneously deporting the illegal immigrants who are working there.

The comments were confirmed by several sources who attended a Feb. 20th endorsement interview with Davis:

"We have a huge unemployment problem with black youth in our cities. Put them on buses, take them out there [to the farms] and pay them a decent wage; they will work."

Celebs Reach Out To President Obama on Gay Marriage

A group of high-profile Americans have come together to urge President Barack Obama to support gay marriage. The group includes Martin Sheen, R&B singer Mya, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and a host of other celebrities, athletes and the like.

The group has written an open letter to the president asking that he back the same-sex marriage issue and support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community's efforts to have their relationships recognized by the legal system and the American public.

It appears that Herman Cain, who is expected to be a black presidential candidate, has the race card locked and loaded for his sprint toward the White House. Recently, Cain was asked about race during a New Hampshire campaign speech. When asked about this controversial topic, Cain had this to say:

"Now people are over this first black president thing," he said. "But there are some people who will say, 'I'm not going to vote for another black guy because this one didn't work out. And my response is, 'Well, what about those 43 white guys you put in there? How did they work out? Don't condemn me because the first black one was bad."

Glenn Beck Sees His Ratings Decline By 33 Percent

In August of last year, Glenn Beck seemed to be on top of the world. The rising star of Fox News held a "Restoring Honor" march on Washington that drew 100,000 people, who also seemed to feel that American honor had been lost since they'd mistakenly allowed a black man into the White House.

Well, since that time, Beck's supporters haven't been nearly as supportive, or perhaps they've simply gotten bored. Whatever the reason, the viewership on Beck's Fox News show has declined by 33 percent since last August.

In fact, some speculate as to whether or not Beck's beloved network will give him the ax.

NPR Schiller

The conservative sting artists are at it again. A Republican activist used a hidden camera to catch NPR fund-raising executive Ron Schiller (pictured) saying that the Tea Party Movement consists of "seriously racist" people.

Schiller was also caught saying that NPR would be better off without federal funds. The attack on Schiller and NPR serves as additional fuel for Republicans seeking to cut federal funding for the radio network.

Study: Those with Strong Racial Identity Are Happier Than Others

Researchers at Michigan State University have just found that those who identify with their race more strongly than others tend to be happier. The study, which is set to appear in the journal Cultural Diversity and Ethic Minority Psychology, is the first empirical study to document such a relationship:

"This is the first empirical study we know of that shows a relationship between racial identity and happiness," said Stevie C.Y. Yap, who is the lead researcher on the project.
