As the world continues to come to grips with the death of
Osama bin Laden on
President Barack Obama's watch, some politicians like
Sarah Palin are refusing to recognize the President's role in the takedown.
During her speech at a recent fundraiser in Colorado, the former Governor of Alaska minced no words in crediting Obama's precursor,
George W. Bush, for the execution of the fallen al-Qaeda leader.
"Yesterday was a testament to the military's dedication in relentlessly hunting down an enemy through many years of war," she said to a crowd of spectators at Colorado Christian University. "And we thank our president. ... We thank President Bush for having made the right calls to set up this victory."
