I don't know what it is with women and their nails but with many state budgets already in the toilet do you REALLY think the police have the time and resources to devote to your bad manicure??
Well, apparently one woman felt that her low-budget tacky nails deserved the full force of a Florida police district when she called 9-1-1 FOUR times to complain about her nail work. Her nails were too short and she paid too much, and what were the police going to do about it?
And you know what the police did: arrested her. For 9-1-1 abuse. Yay!

The end of the year is often about reflecting on the good, bad and the ugly of the last 12 months.
It's a time of numerous lists, best this, worst that, in's and out's. It's a time when we can collectively look at the past year and say, "What the hell just happened?"
And our country's group reflection is never complete without also examining the pop culture that influenced us, for better or for worse, over the past year: the movies, songs, fashions, artists, TV shows and celebrities that will forever make 2010 stand out in our minds.
Accordingly, YouTube, the purveyor of all things pop culture, has just released their "Most-Viewed YouTube Video of 2010." And what the popularity of this video says about our wonderful, wonderful world is that ... we're a bunch of sick bastards.
Drum Roll please....
Antoine Dodson's "Bed Intruder Song" is the Most-Watched YouTube video of 2010, according to an announcement Monday made by YouTube, a Google-owned company. (Just an aside, Google is so paid!) Anyway, YouTube added the view counts for two versions of the video (original and auto-tune) and put its total at more than 61-million views.
OK, maybe we're not all sick bastards, but I have to say, there's something terribly creepy about the popularity and entertainment value of a distraught young man's spontaneous account of his sister's attempted rape.

In a voice mail message left at 7:31 a.m. on Oct. 9, Virginia Thomas (pictured above with husband Clarence Thomas) asked Anita Hill, her husband's former-aide–turned-enemy, for an apology for the sexual harassment suit she filed in the early '90s.
Hill played the recording at Brandeis University and for The New York Times, and soon the wacky voice mail was the talk of the town.
In an an interview with The Daily Caller, Thomas said making contact with Hill "was probably a mistake on my part."
Probably a mistake?

As the holiday season approaches, I remember singing Christmas carols as a child. "Grand Wizard the Snowman was a very jolly soul!" La, La, Laaaaa.....
Wait, you didn't sing about the Grand Wizard when you were kids? Well, then you must not be from Hayden, Idaho, because the folks in Hayden keeps it REAL.
Apparently, one resident decided to show his holiday spirit by creating a Ku Klux Klansman out of snow, complete with a pointy hat, dark eyes and noose. That's so Christmas-sy!!
A self-proclaimed white separatist showed his a** drew complaints from neighbors and received a visit from law enforcement officers, after erecting Grand Wizard the Snowman this week.
